Linda Carter/Super Friends Wonder Woman is not who fans are wanting to see. Princess Diana of Themescyra from the JL cartoon series and post crisis/kingdom come Wonder Woman is the standard that should be aimed for. But that's not really relevant, since whiney pretzel girl cannot really pull either off.

To say the comics Mjollnir is what a 3rd grader thinks a warhammer looks like would be generous. pretty sure even a 3rd grader would know better.
As drawn in comics, its at best a caveman level weapon. But even then its not true, as the handle would break.
Newer versions are at least metal handle and metal head, generally. as opposed to stone and wood. And its more of a sceptor, then actual weapon with a really short handle.
