Back in February of 2020, Michael Hogan slipped and he fell at dinner following an appearance at a Battlestar Galactica convention. The actor went to bed thinking nothing much of the incident, but it led to a brain bleed that caused “paralysis on his left side, memory loss, cognitive impairment and an inability to swallow.” The actor had a feeding tube inserted and has been hospitalized for an extended period, but even if he is able to return home, there has been both a financial and spiritual toll on his family, and extenuating medical costs will be great. This is why hearing hopeful news now is so important.

First and foremost, his wife Susan has now shared an update about the positive direction Michael Hogan’s health has also gone in recent weeks. After nearly a year, things are starting to really finally lookup.

Michael is now eating TWO meals a day! And the food is now minced and not "pulverized" (his word Progress!!!! He still has the feeding tube in his stomach, but they only feed him through it for ONE meal. He is in a really good head space! Joking constantly and charming the pants off the nurses.
He still gets confused and doesn't know where he is sometimes - but can easily be jostled back into place. He has such stamina, and determination, it just blows my mind. And he get so much of that strength from you guys.

Thread had no update on the project. Lost it's lead creative back in march 2021.

I can't find anything to suggest they got a replacement. This project looks stalled out. Lanx might be prepping a little early.

I mean i just didn’t get into the cylons are undetectable can breed are human you can be one without knowing and they can just trigger you etc etc convoluted stuff

IMO it has its ups and downs. Without spoiling it, there are amazing episodes later on in the series. It has a somewhat unfulfilling ending, IMO, but it's not awful given the options.

Its generally pretty good up until episode 4 or 5 of S3. After that it starts going in all sorts of weird directions especially the 4th season.

If you like sci fi definitely watch it til then. Though its not streaming on anything atm iirc. Either need to buy it or pirate it.

Well they have a few normal cylons but then all you get is sexy ones that mind screw with Tenmu dr bashir.

I only i think made it through s1…

When is it we discover the hot Asian is one? Or there is a clone?

Cylons had a plan, but the show runners did not.
One day with ai someone will be able to edit the series into 20ish solid episodes

Yeah it was an unneeded power jump. They already have far superior numbers. But if you watch caprica it makes more sense. Caprica was low budget but was a good show showing the creation of the cylons.

I thought this series dragged with too much drama in whatever season they decided to colonize a planet. The ending was a groaner, but at least it was an ending. They also didn't spend enough time exploring the gods or whatever apollo found that turned his viper white.

Amen. None of this human hybrid shit. Original cylons were lizard people who made these robots. Then the lizard people were wiped out and the robots kept coming after the humans. And dirk is a fucking hoot if you ever get a chance to meet him at a con.

I even liked Galactica 1980. Although, I would rank it last in the last of galactica shows.

Boomer. It was pretty early. S1 or S2. I like the original series better. My only complaint about the hot nympho cylons is that they didn't show nudity.

Boomer, the only time a race/gender swap was for the better.

Fuck the new starbuck. Piss poor replacement. Dirk was a boss. Katie Sackballs is awful.

OG Cylons did exist in the reboot, they were just older models that had been replaced
