I got this for my basic pocket knife these days:

Only just over $80 when I bought it about a year ago though. Made in America with quality metal so you know it's good.

that's still too nice for me as they usually end up between my car seat and the center console.
I have a bunch of Buck 285 Bantams that run between $19 and $26

You guys seen this shit?

"AI-generated profiles and users could soon flood Facebook, according to new comments from a Meta AI executive.

Over the past year, the social media platform company has been perfecting and promoting new artificial intelligence programs and technology across sites like Facebook. In July, Meta launched new trial AI character creation tools with hundreds of thousands of characters already created.

While most of these characters are private for now, Meta expects that they will be a regular part of the platform within the next few years.

"We expect these AIs to actually, over time, exist on our platforms, kind of in the same way that accounts do," Meta vice-president of product for generative AI Connor Hayes told the Financial Times Thursday.

"They'll have bios and profile pictures and be able to generate and share content powered by AI on the platform... that's where we see all of this going," he added."

I read the Financial Times article on that the other day. But, they already have tons of AI accounts that post in my FB feed. They keep recommending me movies and shit, and I see these posts from accounts I don't follow that have a write up of movie I already watched, but then it has an AI created image like the ones below attached to the post. Notice the text is all screwed up. Clearly, they are AI accounts. Plus, I think the FT article mentioned they already have started using them. I just think they don't have enough people posting on facebook anymore so they flood my feed with tons of AI content I never signed up for. Like movie, sports and music posts.

Oh, plus they make up movie recommendations for movies that don't exist. Like I saw an ad for a 2025 movie called Shadow Conspiracy starring Matt Damon and Tom Cruise, so I googled it to see the trailer and the movie doesn't exist. I see tons of fake AI movie ads. It's really weird.

Yeah it mentioned that they have been building the accounts but make it sound like they haven't been "released" or something.

Facebook is dying - I think Boomers and Xers are the only thing keeping it alive and even that is likely the marketplace

That is so weird to recommend movies that don't exist. I don't even understand what the point of AI accounts is. Are people really going to friend fake accounts?

Coomers will make AI accounts for their sex dolls and pretend to have meaningful relationships with them. Just wait until the sex dolls are synced with the Meta account. It's "real enough".

Fucken lol when a coomer is explaining to a Meta sloot why he started following a real sloot. Miscers will rage post about finding BBC is in her dms.

Similar for cat ladies but they'll make accounts for their cats and then follow them. "Did you her abouts Simon's latest book purchase?

True, but still so strange.
