I'm sure someone's tried to analyze it, but I'm not sure you can directly compare streaming profit to theaters. They may get close to 100% but I'd wager there are more than 2 viewings per subscription which for the consumer is the break even point. Family of 4-5 would be same profit disney+ vs theater and any repeat viewings become a loss.

You've seen Black Widow doing interrogations before (in Avengers). She likes to pretend she's vulnerable to get the villains to spill the beans. It worked, she got Dreykov to activate his console and even let her glimpse how to control it, and spill his whole plan. It's not masterful writing but it's pretty much how she operates.
Of course you could argue she could have severed it before and then pretended to not be able to harm him, but maybe she thought it would look more convincing if it actually happened. But mostly these movies are written with Rule of Cool first and logic a distant second.

Before, you'd turn your head on the street of NYC-- now you'd take note... but wouldn't be a head turner.

You can wait 3 months for p.a. to be free like the rest of the plebs. But seriously It’s 25’ish dollars here. Much cheaper than a cinema time for the family. And we get to not get joggers throw popcorn. Winrar, would pay anytime for that.

You need some low-power characters in the ensemble, otherwise the stakes just get stupid. If you want to watch indestructible people punch each other through buildings and mountains, DBZ is awesome for that (and even there they keep some low-power characters around for that very reason). But this cinematic universe they've constructed takes place (mostly) on Earth and as such it's cool to have some "normal" humans to keep it a little more grounded than space titans vs gods.
That's also why I really liked Agent Coulson, he was a competent, cool character (and died a badass in Avengers).
