I'd like to point out how great a job this game does with no trinity.
Chi/crit boosts to other party members. Synergy with knocked down/stun/gripped states.
Bosses defense can be broken, allowing CC on them.
This shit isn't hard.
That said, logging in for the patch, looked around, and logged out. (did 1f and 2f of tower.) A bit undergeared. 20k hp BD, with 270 attack power. weapon is at tomb of exile tier iirc. have the huijiker or whatever weapon, but not the trans stone for it.

im still at true profane using the blackram SS and 4th level of wushins tower was a pain in the ass, i finally beat it but died quite a bit til i moved some skill points around. Others said it was quite easy but the towers difficulty seems to be ramping up quite quickly.
1st floor was like...uh oh i think they might have screwed up the scripts to... 4th floor omfg this is hard lol I cant imagine 7th floor, same person who said 4th was easy was banging his head against the wall on the 7th floor.
Im really lacking unsealing charms though, think im going to have to start buying them, wasted a lot on the pvp set :\ but I might have to actually use that to beat the later fights in mushins tower, we'll have to see, or I need to farm the new SS's before going further.

The 7th floor is the only one I've had a problem with and only because his enrage timer is pretty tight. It's also an idiotic enrage imo. He just becomes completely immune to damage. I sat there fighting him for 3-4 minutes before I figured it out. I thought it was just some phase to wait out.

It's like Poh24 isn't it? You needed a chest within a chest to get the weapon. Or you spent some of the poh tokens to buy it directly, for like 20badges. Pretty sure there's a vendor for BSH24 too, I saw a couple of purple sealed weapons for my class on a vendor when I was checking around, you just need to farm tokens until you have enough.
Edit: Yeah found it, there's a vendor right next to the bank in Hoghead that sells them for 20 badges(or is it the 45 one? 20 one is dark pirate), and there's another vendor at the entrance that has the same shit.
Also new soulshields are goddamn. So much health, so much crit. Went from like 27k 36%crit on my BM to 35k 45%crit, and I'm still missing 3 pieces and don't have obviously perfect rolls or perfect infuses(using shitty greens).

Seriously. For all the bitching about GW2 and the trinity being "here to stay", B&S has done an amazing job of saying, "O'rly?". Most of the stuff about this game is entirely mediocre to downright bad, but the combat system and gameplay is just fucking off the charts. It's going to be almost impossible to play an MMO without the same level of gameplay as this one, going forward. And I wasstaunchlya person who thought "twitch" gameplay had no place in MMOs - B&S proved me all kinds of wrong.

Only get the soul shields from the wheels of fate until 45, then farm your Arena set in Misty then your BSH/PoH from the 24 man. Do all your PvP dailies every day (equip pvp gear to see the red markers on your map). Save soul stones, keys, unsealing charms, field repair hammers and use buns and pots sparingly if possible.
Make sure you upgrade your jewelry at least up to Infernal (where it gets expensive.)
