Getting people trained up on internal tools and processes at any company that does anything even remotely technical takes months, sometimes years, especially at a place where everything is built in-house and proprietary.

Not sure where you've worked but a company isn't just a collection of "full-stack developers" randomly throwing code at things. It's a assortment of highly mediocre people using an ever-growing collection of internal tools and processes that rely on tons of institutional knowledge that is generally hard to replace.full stack developers
