Finished up Pandemic Legacy last night.
Really enjoyed it, though we were well on top of it so there wasn't any real danger of losing the campaign, though we dropped a few games along the way.
Looking forward to season 2 and trying out other legacy games.

Think we failed once and then won in April, playing it at a glacial pace.

^^ I'm in. 2016 year of werewolf imo.

Tried one night revolution this weekend and didn't enjoy too much. We were playing it wrong of course because who has time to read instructions. But lack of interesting roles kind of hurt it. Will try again.

Meant to post that game, just bumped up my pledge yesterday for the wooden box.

Yeah, I'm getting the wooden box and CAH cards. Sick of CAH, but my girlfriend has the game and will appreciate it.

Finally got around to playing firefly. Holy shit is that game long. 4 hours and I finally won, but damn. Still had a great time

Got pandemic, carcassonne, all the Catan expansions, exploding kitten s for christmas.

Exploding kittens is a good 15 minute game.

Got Pandemic and Pandemic: Legacy. Played with the husband who's not really into board games in general. Yeah, I killed all hope of him playing another board game -- especially after getting him to play Talisman.

I think if you're into board games, it is fun. It's nice to play a cooperative game. It is a little complicated in the beginning.

Always looking for suggestions for good games that I can play one on one with my 9 year old daughter. She's pretty bright and catches on quick, probably about the level of a regular 11/12 year old. Picked up Machi Koro last year and she loves that. Was thinking about trying Munchkins but it says 3-6 players.

I got pandemic too. Does it work well as 2 people?
It's arguably easier with 2 people than with 4 since all the cards are consolidated between two people and you get to move more between epidemics.
You'll probably get the rules wrong the first time or two that you play making the game either incredibly more difficult or too easy. Remember to split the city pile into even sections and shuffle the epidemic cards into those sections rather than shuffling them randomly throughout the entire deck...this reduces the chance that you'll get multiple epidemics in a row. Also, you can only trade a city card with someone if you're both currently in that city (unless you have a role saying otherwise).

I'm sure there are more, but those are the two that most people tend to miss. My girlfriend and I play the game with just the two of us a lot and it's definitely one of our favorites.

Tides of Time is a solid game. It is 2 player drafting. It's mostly about matching shapes. I highly recommend it as a two player game for all skill levels.

Had a great time with the new Zombicide black plague last weekend with some friends. Ruleset and gameplay has really improved since the initial release. I was struggling to figure out suitable music, but then I remembered how great the old Doom soundtracks could be.

My father-in-law is a Mars Attacks movie fan, so I picked him up the Steve Jackson dice game. It's a simple and straight-forward roller which was perfect for the non-gamer holiday crowd we had at our house. It would probably be good with younger kids too because it really is non-complicated. Of course you have to enjoy the extreme randomness of dice games.

Camel Cup was the funnest game we played. It simulates a camel race and has a fun amount of chaos from the movement dice. You can play with up to 8 without a terrible amount of down time between turns because you only take 1 action.
