The hell you say."Mass. police: Bomb suspects didn't have gun permit"

I've been out of EVE for a long time, WAY too time consuming, but I make over 1000 dollars extra a month from my MTGO card business. Plus 2 jobs, one at school and one off, and school and taking care of my mom full time as well. She's not just disabled, she's also mentally ill so dealing with her is very difficult, not withstanding dealing with her doctors and the lawyer for the house and the insurance company. If your mother can't take care of herself and you have thought about suicide you should start looking into a home for her.
Do you need a little bit of help or a lot? You made it sound like earlier you needed a lot but now you are saying you just need a little.
You play EVE right? Why aren't you selling PLEX? Is your internet free? I am sure that money could go well into some food etc.
You are too close to your own situation to see that it's not the arrow that is broken, it's the Indian.
I literally don't have the time or the energy. I finally finished redoing the bathroom drywall, floor and wall tiles, toilet and fixtures and getting it fully handicap accessible with railings last month and was in absolute unbearable pain for weeks on end afterwards. Apparently living in a moldy, soggy house is a great way to develop arthritis.Where do you live Mist? Don't you have any family or friends that can help you?
I don't know the extent of your water damage, but replacing the drywall on the lower half of the walls isn't a terribly difficult or expensive thing to do. There are 100's of videos online showing exactly how to do this stuff yourself, which makes the process pretty economical. It's not like you have to fix the entire house at once.. just do it one room at a time as you get money.
Good point but I don't feel like talking about it anymore anyway.Stop shitting up the Boston Marathon thread with your personal log of your life story. Go to the grown up forum please.
If you are going to go there, at least have a funny joke. Those are the two lamest jokes it's possible to make about that situation.Related but not on the current topic of conversation....
The wife and I were at the 18th birthday party of this filipino girl who is a student of my wife's, basically the filipino version of the mexican quinci?era ie like a small wedding... and one of the entertainers for the evening was a singer/guitarist. She was late apparently and when she got up to the mic, opened with: "Sorry I'm late, I just came in from Boston. I had a blast. It was the bomb."
I wasn't offended per say, but it was definitely the most callous and poorly timed thing I've ever heard anyone say in front of 150 people. Mind blown.
Sounds to me like you need psychological help more than anything else.Suicide is certainly an option I've considered but it still doesn't deal with getting my mom the help she needs. Being a lazy bum on welfare is not going to get my house fixed.
That's the problem with the social safety net in this country. It exists only to help totally worthless people. People that are actually capable of fixing their lives if they got a little bit of help out of their current situation are completely stonewalled by the system.
Wow no shit? I go to Bristol Community College and am transferring to UMASS in the spring next year. I live in New Bedford. What area jozu? I go to school there
