Has anyone gotten any imps from farming Vriksha yet? Was looking to see the best xp rates and saw that they are rare drops in the final zone. Something to do while waiting for more content!
i managed to get 2 or 3 when i first went through lanara, none in vriksha yet i think. fucking fused 5 crystals into my 4* exvehl instead of my 6* one this morning... did manage to get a dark and light totem to drop in my last 2 miracle totem runs though so... karma?? lol
i am running the zurg level quite a bit though, since it's got the best exp:energy in the game so far. i have had a BITCH of a time trying to get a hades claw to drop in Palmyna so far though... need one of those and a silver pelt to make an angelic foil. I think i already have the mats to make amanohabaken from the angelic foil

ran that once with no luck, trying the open seal right now. i should probably be using a zelnite though...
Every item that can drop will drop 100% of the time. Eventually. It's based on your DC % and checks every time you hit. With double zelnite you almost always hit 90% of drops on first round. With no Zelnite you can get unlucky and single target attack a mob from full to dead without getting a positive DC for your item.
It functions just like BC's but is a separate check iirc. For example Legatus Melchios DC #'s on basic attack are

Thief God Zelnite's LS adds 3% item DC to every attack instance and his SBB9/10 add another 3% item DC. Which in Melchio's case more than doubles the chance of a drop from every hit except the 13th where it's just shy of 2x with double Zel lead and SBB buff. But it's still all down to RNG. I've 1 rounded my share of quest bosses without gettign a drop using 2x Zel it's just very very rare. I also think karma and all items that can drop are randomized between positive checks but don't quote me on that as I haven't looked into it. It's just gut feeling from experience. Karma may in fact be a separate check.

That's Melc's SBB DC %s btw. If you're farming items it does pay to look into that stuff because in his case you are waaaay better off using his basic attack to farm items.

yeah i've been having shit luck farming mats for spheres last couple of days. i tried dejour ruins first couple of times since it was the cheapest energy-wise, then formidable presence since i didn't feel like going against cardes, then the open seal this morning but no freakin hades claw drop. i got two from clearing the map the first time, but no luck so far when i'm actually trying to get it. switched to zelnite lead for this run on formidable presence...
sweet, the pelt and claw just dropped. now to make another run through it to get the last pelt.

One of the best things I did was bulk my inventory up to 190. Basically went through a period where I just dumped the free gems into it. And then I've used 5 or 6 from the RockU thing as well. Basically don't have to really worry about inventory anymore. I've seen people say you'll never regret increasing your inventory or unit space.

Yea I have 210, at this point you need 200ish for quality of life or you'll go batshit crazy getting punted to the item screen after every battle.
Case in point, my wife wanted another alt account, so we loaded one up on the iphone4, Got a zelnite first draw, cool, fucking every other battle we do, goto item screen. Even tho battles take forever on auto, still annoying.

The distribution is actually where his atk goes in his hits, not the drop check. It's mostly academic for Melchio because they are so similar, but it's more obvious with units like Mariudeth where one of his 3 hits hits MUCH harder than the other two.

yeah this is what i try to do. I just happened to have 2 muramasas from arena or some other reward. i was able to craft the angelic foil so at least on slot is opened up, but waiting on 10 honor claws right now to finish off the amano
edit: if i went through and got rid of some more of the useless spheres i'll probably be okay for a while. i just have to go through them and see what spheres i have that can craft into good stuff, like the medulla's and other 3/4 stat spheres
