I am new to this, but are thunder idols normally more obnoxious to catch than others? Or is it just bad luck cause that is the one I want to catch? Alternating between the idol stage and doing the St whatever thunder level, I think I have only seen like 5 and caught about 0, while having 4 or 5 of all the others.

I assume it's just RNG and me noticing it because I am targeting on thing

edit: Obviously caught one right after bitching about it on the internet. all according to plan

Out of curiosity, why? After upgrading everything to max level my Karma is through the roof from just regular dungeon grinding. At only 50k or so to make the Amano and 20k for Sols I'm wondering what maybe I'm overlooking

I never did the karma sploits, and my sphere shop is only level 40 (sol creators need level 43 and amanos level 48). Really should've done the exploit, so now I'm considering grinding karma along with BB fodder

I feel like JP must do imps differently. I've got like 20 imps sitting around that I don't want to invest in any of my shit units. But I get the impression that they're very plentiful and I should just say fuck it.

Which, speaking of, between the global honor stuff still going and JP starting their stuff, I feel like a slave to BF right now.

If you're doing the quest line then at some point your energy/karma ratio becomes so much better than the Karma Vortex dungeon that it's not worth doing those. The quests also get bonus points for providing Zel and BB fodder. Same with the weekend Zel Vortex dungeon, even with the guaranteed Jewel God at the end of the 3rd one.

I never really paid any attention to the karma gains from questing and I never really ran the karma vortex dungeon, which is why I asked. So it sounds like I'll just try for Zurg and get decent xp/karma/zel/BB fodder/imps for the energy

I think at some point around Mirvana, the jewel (weekend and key) and zel dungeons become inefficient. So once you're passed that point, don't bother running either ever again.

It worked for me yesterday. I have had it fail when I do too much in the same session. Now I just park something at 10k karma remaining to upgrade. The next day I kill the app to reset it, log in, upgrade and fill to 10k remaining again before doing my dailies. This method has not failed me, but I am also OK just upgrading once a day.

I imagine if you upgraded, filled to 10k remaining, backed out to town, got your bugged refund, backed out to main (connecting/save) and then killed the app you could repeat it.

If anyone's looking to start on JP, now is the time to do so. I think I got 6 or 7 free gems today and 3 golden gods (300k zel each). Super honor rate up, so far I've gotten like 4 imps on about 20 summons. Free sphere frog after 9 days of logging in, and something like 82 gems total.
