The conflagration will be handily contained and we all know it, though. Their public presence is maintained by a fawning, paying reddit playerbase. I mean seriously, these guys drop 200 bucks on new batches with new rateups. They're also the ones moderating this mess. Lasting damage to the game will be minimal.

This is probably good for me. It's definitely brought to light just how reliant I am on this game at work. I'm already formulating plans to unload all my gems on the first Vesti rateup and just quit if I don't get what I want.

I'm on. Compensation is 1 gem, 1 almihty imp, 1 burst emperor and 1 summon ticket, and I think a few of those were actually summer giveaways. Lol.

Imp, Emp, and Ticket were compensation from the original 3 hour maintenance extension.
There was a post on Reddit suggesting that the servers are finally working and they are letting folks in, but I'm (and apparently a host of others are) still getting the "connection error has occurred" and can't download the game data to load in.

Having a mass of people get in, but still being on the outs stuck at 2% makes this so much worse

Yea, they changed that between the 2nd and 3rd/final iterations we saw. Was %, changed to crit damage at the same time they removed the ATK from taunt and fixed the timings.

Blew my tickets because I'm a moron and use them when I get them because it makes hoarding gems less annoying. Kuda (lol) and Dion - not the crit buffer I wanted at all. Hoping against hope for my 3% chance at drawing Zenia.

Well, I definitely should have known better than to use them, but I do have a policy of pretty much using tickets as soon as I get them. It really dos help with gem discipline.

I'm not sure Gumi has even acknowledged the connection error at 2% bug some of us are facing.

Well, I was able to use a work-around to ping my account at least. Used someone else's phone and logged in with a guest account, then switched over to my facebook connected account *without* touching that bugged-ass download. Was able to ping my daily log-in, but nothing else.....I can't even accept any compensation items in the gift-box without triggering the bugged download. But I'll take what I can get...it beats letting my log-in go to hell and gone.
On the up side, I was able to see that I had left Zenia up as a group leader.
One night (due to circumstances I will not admit to) I got to messing with my groups - when I woke up the next day I discovered that I had left my Oracle Rigness as a group leader for reasons I cannot even begin to fathom. If I was going to leave a character up for days at a time out of my control, I'm glad it was Zenia heh.
On the up side, I was able to see that I had left Zenia up as a group leader.
