Breaker Ivris as the extra unit like really. Nick, Radyn, Lucca, Priscilla, Rhagan. Pretty bad but at least I can use Rhagan. Been wanting Hadaron/Rhagan so it ends ok. I did do 5 gems for unit space to offset the salt after the first 4 pulls.

Also Legendary sucks. I don't even bother with CA anymore like most people it seems. Should've listened to Ishad and stayed in Summoner.

Lol, look at Ishad's pulls. He got everything I got + Avant - Chrome + Charla. Only been back for like a week, but from what I gathered he got the best units in the game (minus Zedus) with 25 gems.

As an aside, how the fuck is Avant okay? I mean that guy's insane.

Although getting Chrome instead simplifies things for me, as he's Gazia-compatible, as is my Zenia-free party. (Never got that bitch). Not sure what the ideal friend unit is. Haven't had time to level up units or plan party, but rolling for now with Chrome lead, Tridon, Hardon, Gazia and either Griff or Aurelia. Libera will be worked in when I have the means to level her up.

Ishad's pulls mitigated my elation to an extent, but reading through here it seems I'm lucky to have a Gazia-friendly squad (fu Zenia). Friend unit is another matter, though. No idea there. Avant has clashes, probably Zedus too but I don't have any friend Zeduses and haven't looked up his abilities yet. I just know from hearsay he's insane.

To be fair I didn't get a chrome. I would have been happy with one of avant/Charla/griff. Landing all three is insane. All my teams basically have optimal units.

Yeah, that's the best 25 gems I've ever seen spent. Mine was...the second best 25 I've seen spent.

Btw Dr. Ishad, what do you think the ideal friend unit would be for the preliminary (read: not entirely thought out, but with surface-level coherence) squad outlined above.

edit: Libera will be replacing one of those guys. Probably Aurelia

You might have to do that instead of griff. I tried rc5m10 with a similar squad and I blew up both bosses before killing the right parts.

Seriously don't sweat it, man. Swings of fortune are an indelible part of the game, and it can change at any moment. I went a long time withno7 star (non-Elimo) mitigator and no Zenia back when shewasthe metagame. I didn't care how good my luck was when I couldn't get either. Hell, I quit over it.

Fast-forward a few months and while I still have no Zenia, I'm fucked now by the sheer salvo of mitigators. Lack thereof was so catastrophic that I chose Krantz as free unit; pulled a Krantz immediately thereafter; Shera 7* arrived; got Gazia; forgot to change unit of choice, now I'm getting another Krantz.

I know I posted that before, but that was all within like two days. You've presumably still got a unit of choice coming, whereas Ishad and I have blown ours (somebody please, PLEASE correct me if there's a way to change it at this point). (Also I am assuming Ishad chose Avant).

I've lamented in the past Alim's tendency to release a glut of linear improvements to existing units (Reis -> Griff, Raaga -> Rhoa) in lieu of interesting sidegrades (Kikuri -> Medina, Kira -> Dion), but it can go a long way toward unfucking indignant/frustrated players by offering the possibility of a single good pull alleviating any amount of rage. I'm not familiar with this meta but I think that applies to you, because all anybody ever seems to talk about is Avant and Zedus

What should I do with my dups? Got an extra Charla from the free unit for every 5 summons thingy but I also got a ton of less useful stuff as well, like 2 Jacks and like 3 Kafka. Do I sell them for achievement points?

Yes.

Store, Trade, Trade Unit.

Make sure you have the "right" one available. If you want to maximize points, fully evo them (and level, w/e). I don't bother, because I just want the box space back.
