Although you can get them from level 2, you get 1-2 per run from level 3. I found out the hard way that it is WAY easier that way to get the sphere. Now if only fucking Zebra would drop for me. I have run that shit, no joke. around 60 times now.

for bugs run level 2 and manually focus one mob at a time. equip your +item drop sphere if you have it (arena I think?). Four per run for me.

I crafted my Lantern sphere, and the moonbugs that I had in items disappeared? guess it takes moonbugs to craft the sphere? My android tablet says it doesn't, but I've seen screenshots of it taking 5 bugs? not sure what happened.

I just knocked out Karl and Grah. I used a Grah friend against Grah himself and it made it SO much easier. Keep in mind though that you have to guard during the 100% / 70% / 40% super AoE's or else he will toss your shit. As for the 10% one you can just burn though it and if he wipes your team (like he did with my first squad) just finish him off with your second.

With all that said I wouldn't run Karl or Grah until you got a healthy amount of 6 stars for both squads.

I'm still curious how a_skeleton_03 was able to get his Grah so early. I think he's had it since around level 50 or so, if not earlier.

What would you recommend for Karl? I've been kicking around trying to do those events.

I finally decided to install the game to get a break from Pxd. I got the first 5 free gems and pulled a 3star Vampire, and then noticed the "Guaranteed 4 stars on all rare summons etc" What am I missing?

I get the impression that the first pull is almost always garbage. My first pull was the shitbird, which a lot of people say is one of the worst units there is. I wouldn't worry about it, and just keep playing. I'd bet your next pull is something decent.

Not that you know what the different units are yet, but if you look at my list I've had incredibly good units since the shitbird. It's not like Puzzle and Dragons where 90% of it's garbage, either. Most units are somewhat worthwhile.

Its RNG and you just got the short end of the stick. Dean was my first pull and he was 3 star at that point. An awesome pull in my mind. Vampire is worth keeping around till you get something to replace him, or switch the strategy of your team up. His evo components are pretty easy too. I love my Water Team that's all God/A tier, but is only great for questing. Where as my Rainbow Team does an outstanding job in Arena - Which at my rank in Arena, is just a race to who gets to fire off their BB's first. Someone else mentioned it a while back, but when you're first starting off and you're poor - Sell the units you acquire from quest zones. Dont Fusion them. The money you save is better spent on the Metal Parade monsters for fusion.

edit: and I see you have the same problem I do Elurin. Almost as if Earth units dont exist. Makes Lightning dungeons so fucking hard.

Decided to try my luck (only had 5 gems), maybe get a new unit from this batch, or last batch, since I didnt get an Uda, Kajah, or Luther....

Oracle Red Axe Michelle (dupe) already have Anima one.... FML this game hates me.
Had a similar situation when I started. I spent 25 gems and got 4 alyuts and one zephyr. To make matters worse - this is the first type of game Ive played like this and melded them all into one Alyut. I didnt stop there, I didnt even pay attention to the Types that each Alyut was. Thankfully I ended up with a Guardian which isnt too bad for him, but good god, if I would have kept the Oracle Alyut I would hate myself that much more.

Thanks for the advice. I went ahead and got 30 gems to get me started. Did 6 pulls and got the following:

- Luther
- Michele
- Copra
- Homusubi
- Mage Rashil
- Vishra

Going to read up a bit and see who I should focus on.

Luther is the hotness, to me. His 5 star is 10 hits, and has 2 possible effects. If his 6 star comes out anytime soon - he'll be the bees knees imo. Unranked for most tier lists.

Micheles 6 star is 18 hit with fire buffing and attack boost. Rank 11

Ice Fortress Oulo (Copra) - I have him, hes a beast. Ive seen different strategies on how to play him, but his six star form at max BB (23) crystals fills up every round to other. Gives your healer a good chance to pop out of guard and heal, then only take minimal damage if targeted. I only used him for questing though. Ranked 5

Bordebegia (Homusubi) - Awesome BB filler for your Mono Fire team. His BB hits 11 times and boosts spark. Ranked 7

Sky Mage Rashil - She "sounds" awesome. But I think the plan for healers in this game is to boost defensive capabilities. The whole point behind having a healer and a Utility. Never the less, you have a Healer, which it took me a.. month? I think, to get mine. #54

Rakshasa Lord Vishra seems to not stack up so well either. #73 11 hit with probable curse. I wouldnt say hes a bad unit though.

All in all, I think you got the start to make a great mono Fire team and quite a leg up for a questing team. Someone else might be able to help you more than I can. But I think you had some great f'n pulls.

Here is the Brave Frontier Unit Tier list that "I" like. Its updated all the time, so I think its better for that reason alone. Its all personal preference, though.

Copra (Tesla) is apparently a required unit in the JP version. Basically because shit hits so hard in the end game of their version, you absolutely have to have it. I haven't used mine at all, but it's a 5* guardian, so I'm ready when the day comes.

It's not rng btw, first pull during tutorial is off a different table of rubbish units instead of the real rare summons.

Then I didnt pay attention to that one at all if thats really the case. Dean was my first rare pull, though.

This may have been discussed already, but how do some of these guys in arena have like 3 or 4 losses and thats it? I lose something like 1 in 5 arenas just because my team will hold their dick in their hand with bb's instead of firing them. (I used to lose a lot more because I didnt have a bb team for reference)

On that same subject: Im at Berserker rank > How did you guys figure out who was a 200 point win and who wasnt? I try to look for Gladiators but I havent seen one yet out of several refreshes. Its rough, cause when that one loss does hit - if its against a similar point team, its pretty significant hit.

There are two main types of people with huge win lose ratios. The first max their team before starting, the second force close when it looks like they might lose 8)

There is no benefit to either other than ego.

For picking opponents, taparoundthe refresh button in a circle a few times then press it. It will activate a secret mode where it displays the exact arena points of your opponent. That makes life a lot easier, after that just pick teams 3k over you for the sweet sweet 200pt action.

The spot is to the top right corner of the refresh button (not on the button, but above it). Tap it about a dozen times, slowly working towards the refresh button, and you'll eventually get it.

Any opponent 3000 points above you is worth 200. As you get closer, they're worth less. I believe 2000 points above is 150.

I'm 306-22 in arena basically because I'm a huge pussy and never fought anyone that looked like they would beat me (lower hero level, lower arena rank). But recently I've been picking people that will reward 150-200 if I can.

I figured there were people with big wins no loss like me who only pick safe fights but are comparable in level to me. Usually don't fight them. Then there are people with a more even radio that I like to fight.

I base my arena fights off their points and leader, usually I go for mono-fire teams (mono-water) or anything not rainbow/BB/lightning.
