Of the first 4 episodes, this was the weakest. But by no means was it boring. The seeming "swing of power" back towards Hank, Walt finally committing to the "Belize" solution.

You can see the pieces being set on the board. The players are thinking about their moves.

This shit is gonna be epic.

Or it could be another red herring and walt is contacting Todd to make himself disappear via a fake suicide. or it could be something else entirely.one thing this show has proven it does not follow a set pattern. Walt has shown twice this episode that he doesnt even want to entertain the notion of killing jesse even though he knows letting him run around like this is just another half measure. the question is did he finally decide to tie up this final loose end with jesse or is he going to remove himself thus defusing jess and any other situation? at this point walt can just blow town go wherever the fuck he wants until things die down. i think if anyone kills jesse it will be jesse himself, or maybe skyler kills him misreading a situation between him and walt as a showdown instead of a talkdown. its anyone's guess right now. these writers are pretty much on another level.

Good setup episode.

I really wish they showed Hanks' reaction to when Jesse told him they were 10 meters away when he shot Tuco, or what really happened with Hank's assassination.

Also I was disappointed that the reason Jesse didn't light the place up was Huell lifting Jesse's lighter.

Yeah, I mean, of course it was good tv, just antsy to get this shit going at this point.

I know what you mean. I hate that it's ending but I'd love for all the episodes to be released tomorrow.

In the movie Charley Varrick, Walter Matthau breaks into his dentist's office and switches out his dental records in a plan to fake his own death. Perhaps another assignment for Todd's Aryan relatives?

In other news, the Sklyar Reclamation Project is officially over. Having her pushing Walt to off the show's primary sympathetic character plants her squarely back in insufferable cunt territory.

The inside of the house looking partially dismantled in the flash forward is explained now (tearing out the gasoline soaked parts of the house).

I have a feeling this was a "calm before the storm" episode. All of the pieces have been set up, allegiances have been established, and now everyone is moving onto the board.

My theory. Notice they spent some time having Marie talk to her shrink about poisoning Walt, and spending 6 hours googling untraceable poisons? How much you wanna bet that shit is gonna come back to bite her in the ass. I've watched enough Breaking Bad to know they don't just put "filler" into their episodes. If something is said, it has some plot device.

I could already hear Hank saying "Damnit Marie!" when that scene was going on. Couple that with the flash forward and Walt getting the ryicin, I wonder if he's not gonna frame her, or if it's gonna backfire on them (Hank + Marie).

And you know it's sad when that scene was going on I was thinking to myself, shit, NSA gonna come kick her door in!

The next episode is titled To'hajiilee. It's the name of an Indian Reservation in New Mexico. I wonder what's going to happen there.

If anything this episode just blurred the allegiances even more. Hank was right about Walt actually caring about Jesse, while showing he is only using him and couldn't give a shit less if Jesse dies. The way they deliberately made this 2 points right after another I'd be surprised if it didn't come up again and Jesse stays with Hank

yeah she is a cunt. after the actress wrote that NYT OPED calling people who hate skyler a bunch of misogynists i read an article from a female critic wondering if that includes the women who hate her character too. every time i think about this episode and how they set it up i keep thinking of different possibilities how things can go down. i even kinda suspected that jesse overheard Hank talk shit to Gomey about him when he was supposed to be in the bathroom and it made him decide to fuck over Hank's little plan.

i am also curious how Gomez is worked into this. Hank just involved another DEA agent in on his secret. Gomez has not reported this either, it means they are conducting an unofficial and probably illegal investigation. if it was official then Hank would be on suspension and not allowed anywhere near it because he is too close to the case and is possibly involved as well. Gomez has to be wondering how much shit he is going to be in for not reporting this to his superiors. Hank is done. there is no way he can ever have a law enforcement career after this. he will be lucky if he isnt indicted right along with Walt. but Gomez now stands to sink right down with Hank and i cant imagine he would allow his career and life to be ruined like that even if Hank is supposed to be his friend. Gomez has put up with quite a bunch of bullshit from Hank, covered his ass a few times already. this however is heavy shit. Gomez best advice would have been to report Hank and Walt the second he found out and distance himself from whatever detective shit Hank is playing at on his free time.

nah, good episode. always figured it would come down to Walt and Jesse. but i thought it was going to be like a train hitting full speed, since there were only eight left. these four have been somewhat slow, which makes me terribly antsy

Biggest thing that annoys me about the show at the moment (since I just watched them all for the first time) is how much they dropped the ball with Gus. I have so many questions about him and his past and all the shit they hinted at about him but none of it will ever be answered.

I still feel tonights episode was lacking. We've seen this stuff with Jesse and Walt coming for a long time now.....for too long really and now that it's here I want it to be over with and really only care about Hank and Walt going back and forth at this point. I've had my fill of Jesse/Walt.

Antsy is good. Another amazing episode even if it was a build up episode. Last season so I want the actual build up before the house falls down.
