i was pondering if walt and jesse might never have another scene together and then i realized, walt called jesse a coward. whether he likes it or not, jesse considers walt a father figure, he has been trying to please him subconsciously and when he does self destructive shit he is trying to hurt walt subconsciously. this was all revealed when jesse is in the hospital and walt tells him "your meth was as good as mine" and it totally breaks jesse down. jesse was called a coward by his 'dad'. he is going to come at these nazis, but only when walt is around so he could show him that he was no coward and that he was not 'with' the nazis. it will also destroy jesse's notion that walt was the devil when he just spent 9 months with people who were pure evil. does it make them buddies? maybe? the big question mark is what happens when walt gets to the nazi compound. i kinda predict the m60 will never get used, at least not by walt.

Walt-dead by ricin after turning himself in to the feds with the location of hank and gomey's corpses

Skylar- will have a better lawyer(s) a better job maybe get the car wash back due to Max Cherry sending her cash from walt's barrel

jesse- dies at nazi compound

Lydia- first one to die because she was on the way to ABQ. walt has no idea how todd feels about her, but it will hit todd like a ton of bricks because his hero killed the woman he loved

Todd- killed by jesse or walt. its cliche to say jesse will kill him because this show is all about the anti-cliche way of doing things

Jack- will die quite quickly, in fact will probably be the first to die when walt reaches the compound.

Marie- lives off husband's life insurance policy. maybe makes friends with skyler again, maybe takes her family in.

walt jr- keeps enjoying his breakfast

Gretchen and Elliot- come out of this relatively unscathed, though maybe walt while confessing to the DEA has a curveball he throws at them by declaring some illegal business practices gray matter were committing while he was working there.

Jesse had that option when Andrea was alive and didn't take it. He will be thinking now that he is the only one that can take care of Brock.
Watching Andrea died makes him much more unstable than he already was. He's at the point where he might kill himself even if they set him free.

Not saying he's going to do it or not, but it's a very believable scenario.

Anyone else think the better call saul spinoff will be a sequel, and the announcement that it's a prequel is just bullshit?
I felt there was a good chance they called it a prequel was so they wouldn't be giving away that Saul gets off the hook no problem.

But what exactly did Saul do that has him on the run, anyways? I'm pretty sure they can't make him testify against his own client, and Saul didn't personally do anything traceable back to him

Well, Gray Matter arc will most likely have some closure, but we still don't know who the hell was wpying on Walt on the parking lot roof at the end of season 4.

I dunno. Saul is more than just a lawyer in all of this. He's a facilitator in the committing of crimes. There's probably some provision of RICO under which he could be charged with certain things.

They'd be a lot freer in being able to explore the pre-Walt time period than they would having to work around the constraints of Saul in hiding. They'd be able to bring back Mike and Gus for instance. Maybe the occasional encounter with Agent Schrader.

I don't think there was any spying. It's been debunked by most people who analyzed the whole thing. It was just an odd camera angle with car sounds from the parking garage.

Also a pretty cool folksy song about a New Mexico girl who's boyfriend gets killed and she commits suicide:

Yeah the Ricin has no other use other than for Walt to speed up his own death?

Jesse blowing up the lab as a mirror to episode 1 also seems likely.

So... why does Walt need a machine gun?

These three things don't gel together so we should be in for a surprise.

Walt: Dead before he gets to jail
Jesse: rescued in a DEA raid, ends in jail
Skylar: lives, not in jail, keeps her job as the taxi dispatcher, doesn't get the money
Walt Jr: eats some corn flakes

Marie: I doubt we even see her again, if so it will be briefly at the end -- lives.
Todd: dead in a DEA raid
Lydia: lives, (turns state witness).
Jack: dead in a DEA raid
Gretchen + Elliot: poisoned. Walt is specifically coming back for these two.

I think Walt has resigned himself. He's given up on his family, he knows he can't fight the entire federal apparatus. He knows his time is short. I think instead he'll use that apparatus to kill the Nazis, Lydia, and Jesse (since blue meth is back, Walt would guess that Jesse is alive). I think all he's going to use that gun for is to confront Gretchen and Elliot at their home, poison them, and then go die in a ditch somewhere.

Elliot and Gretchen were only there so Walt could learn that blue meth was being cooked without him. They served as a reminder that Walt's work had made others rich just as the blue meth is now doing for Todd and the Nazis. Todd and the Nazi = the new Gretchen/Elliot. Blue meth is the new grey matter.

If anyone thinks they'll use up valuable finale time on two minor minor characters (when was last episode they appeared in getting killed then you're a fool. Plus, ever heard of billionaire level security?

They probably won't be, but Gretchen and Eliot are central to Walts entire character. In that sense they are not minor at all and it would wrap things up in a tight little bundle. The final episode is more of an epilogue for Walt. The pertinent resolutions have already happened. I don't really think that's what will happen, but it is what I would like to see happen. Because frankly, Jesse is living the hell he created for himself and I just don't care what happens to the Nazi's. I like Todd, he's a stone cold gentleman psychopath, but the story isn't about Todd.

This show plays so fast and loose that billionare security isn't a real concern. Walts already been to one of their garden parties and he's totally a Nobel Prize winner. He'll figgure it out. We all know that smart trumps rich.

Wow, Blue Meth being the new Grey Matter is a pretty cool parallel. We can see how Walt can just walk away from things to try and have a boring family life with a cunt of a wife, he should have ricin'ed Hank right back when he found out.

Gretchen and elliot were only used as a motivational device and exposition for the resurgence of Blue for walt. I honestly dunno why anyone thinks otherwise.

I'm just hoping we see Lydia chained to a radiator at some point.

That would make it all worth while.
VG's Talking Bad hint for the final episode was "woodworking". Maybe Todd gets to make some mulch with Lydia's wood chipper vajayjay.
