That is the point, I believe. By championing something as vague as "privilege", it can't be proved or disproved. And by refusing to elaborate on any specifics, those specifics can neither be proved or disproved. They then point to the end result that white people are better off. Since white people are better off- and since everyone must be equal, obviously- then there must be this nebulous privilege that is elevating white people over other people. So, we need to bring white people down until we're all enjoying equal outcomes.

The moment I saw him I wondered what the fuck his lawyer was thinking, seeing him like that and why didnt the lawyer trying and fix the dumb kid. Kid basically assured a guilty vote before the trial even began.

No, in that particular case because slaves were explicitly black and explicitly slaves, things were a little different. But in those cases the house American Inventor was the one that talked the most like the masters and pretended the shit the masters did to the other slaves wasn't fucked up.

But in today's world of finance, the tier of slaves that surrounds the masters are indeed mostly white guys who were in frats. A few slots go to black guys from frats just so the other white guys can say they're friends with a black guy. The asian guys are shoved in the back rooms working as quants despite being smarter than everyone else (this is literally true.) Women make up a tiny percentage of those jobs in high finance.

It's the same in politics. Very few women even get to the primary stage for House/Senate because in order to get to that stage you need a bunch of money, which is doled out by rich white men. On the other side of the political coin, female lobbyists are barely one step above escorts, basically stuck doing dinners and blowjobs, and are generally not the men with the bags of money.

who was pretending? really? the intellectual class has taken it up as a moral crusade against the majority population. Throughout the history of america or the british empire even, most of the population believed in narratives of state or national or religious tribalism. most of the people probably didn't believe a word of it beyond equality of their peer group. To me at least it seems mostly a struggle between the intellectual classes and what they feel compelled to ingrain in society.

So let me get this whole passive-aggressive privilege stance right. Checking your privilege doesn't need to be done publicly, it's not for shaming, right? So therefore it only needs to be acknowledged privately. But it's not supposed to be guilt inducing, right? It also doesn't invalidate or diminish accomplishments right? Taking pity or giving help to people who don't have the same privilege would be degrading and insulting right?

So what the fuck does it even mean? It's all bullshit meant to invoke the exact feeling that they shouldn't. At least all the minority-pride and affirmative action people are honest in that they want others to feel bad and give them free shit.

Problem with that position, like original sin, is that it puts more responsibility on those who are argued with more privilege. Rich for instance should shoulder the burden of the poor. Now, white people should shoulder the burden of the lesser race.

"recognize" your privilege is like saying "recognize that you have sinned." How you behave afterwards now depends on how you should repent such sin.

Jesus had it right. At least there is an eternal life that awaits afterwards if you give up your wealth and live for the good of mankind. There is no reward for recognizing privilege except avoiding public shaming. There is no reason to recognize your privilege except pity and self-hate. No incentive, no nothing.

What's more problematic about this privilege concept is that it depends on your race, instead of your wealth. At least with wealth, your "privilege" is at least quantifiable. For race, it is completely different. Too broad, too abstract, and too many personal and individual choices to consider for such privilege to materialize. Education, friendship, social skills, family, and heritage undermines the solidity of "racial" privilege.

Racial privilege is only true when everything it outlines (education, racial connections, social skills, family, and heritage) are aligned in one unison and becomes reality. In other words, it is a goal that racial group should strive towards.

So "privilege" is not really a privilege. It is a "racial" cultural goal that is only restricted to "one" race. To a degree, this is true. Race or gender.

That is why I imagine the intellectual class feels guilty for supporting colonialism so now they feel compelled to shame european societies to radically reconfigure their cultures to make up for it. It's also why I call it eurocentric white guilt because countries like china must literally be baffled by some of this stuff.

In all, a White Male may have some passive auras that we may be too ignorant to see. But the truth of the matter is that in the USA, at least, we have went from KKK to bending over backwards for Black People. Where we will give a Black Kid a Scholarship to a Grad program, but not the White Kid based on their skin color alone. Where a grad program will accept a Black Kid with a 3.5 GPA over a White Kid with a perfect GPA just because they have to have a certain amount of Blacks within the program. Where, on the other end of the spectrum, we have a White Family within the poverty line being denied Government assistance, yet a Black Family just above the poverty line is accepted. Where that same Black Family is afforded Tax Refund checks based on relief funds that are specifically for minority families. --- If we're trying so damn hard to end Racism and prove equality, then why the fuck are we promoting one race above another? USA has an outrageous amount of White Guilt and its sickening.
