I don't really have a point of view on topic other then a general view that violence against men by women is treated in the media as if it doesn't exist. I really don't have problem with considering even the most wacky feminists point of views and I will consider them before I dismiss them. You on the other hand seem to have a clear bias and don't want any contrary facts to your point of view to be considered.

No, it's really not. You can accuse anyone of anything. Since they have to rely on obviously circumstantial evidence such as proximity, correspondence, shared plans, etc., it is harder to get a conviction but it happens. The more recent one I remember was with the British cab driver who was accused of rape and had to rely on his cell phone recording (because thankfully he knew the chick was crazy enough to do anything) just because she didn't want to pay cab fare. The chick was drunk, left the car and made the entire story up.

Hey look, the CDC's National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey just calls people and asks them questions, orsurveysthem if you will. Because almost all of the statistics in these areas are obtained through surveys.

The problem is really that while the statistics part works, the method of collecting the data can be flawed. For example, a phone survey on sexuality in the 1950s probably should not be trusted... For any social survey to work, you have to operate under the assumption that the same social stigmas which prevent certain crimes from being reported (IE, rape in general or domestic violence against males)do notsignificantly alter responses or truthfulness in a phone survey. Also, you have to assume that there is no greater interest in certain parties (IE, the victims of abuse) vs. others to complete the interview if the CDC disclosed the topic. I don't think these are good assumptions, but what else can you do without reading minds? No social surveys will ever be as scientific as I'd like because social sciences are by definition pseudo-sciences.

But you should. Unless all the questions, how the survey was conducted, how they handled callers, etc. is all exposed. Not saying youcan'tfind that, but often people cite surveys as gospel when even knowing the actual verbiage of a question of interest would cast doubt on a claim which cited the survey.

I'm not the one who is unaware of what surveys are and how they are used and where they go wrong. Perhaps you have confused me for the person that was using italics and bolds to sarcastically attack a survey for being a survey while not realizing that basically all of that data she's ever cited comes from them including the CDC report that she made such a big deal about and then dropped completely when there was plenty of information in the report thatwasn'ton her side?

Never said anything about making any new laws. Underage drinking is already illegal.
As a culture, we should stop promoting casual sex as being without consequence, because it's clearly not true.
Also never asked for any new freedoms. People have way too much freedom already, especially kids. Most people use that freedom to turn themselves into useless wastes of flesh.
