Case in Point: Japan.
Up until the 2008 economic crisis, Japanese companies had a policy known as "Job-for-life". If you worked for a company, you could expect to keep your job as long as you worked hard.
Japanese men committed to working 12+ hour days because the health of the company was tied directly to their families well-being. They worked so much, it became socially acceptable for salary men to die from stress and exhaustion at their desks. This was considered honorable.
After the economic crisis, Japanese companies ended this practice. As a result 75% of men aged 20-40 have become herbivore men, and 60% of all adult males self-identify as herbivore men.
Japanese men have gone on strike. They no longer give a fuck about working themselves to death or pursuing relationships.
They live for themselves and their own happiness.

Apparently women can't be replaced with sexbots because 'real men' need to know they're suppressing someone or sex gets boring.
Meanwhile women would use the robots to do actual work, reproduce via turkey basters and replace sex with chocolate.

that's not fine and neither is it for large percentages of woman to try and go it alone parenting or replace family with career, that's the whole point, when self obsession overcomes what logically should be common goals.

Equality is not revenge. But I like how you admit that women treating men like men have always treated women is abusive.
I'll agree with the MRA types up to the point that a woman should not expect a man to support her if she has nothing to offer him or treats him poorly.
But that just means that more women have to learn to support themselves, not that they need to go back to being submissive chattel for the good of society.

only really in the sense that there's an opportunity cost and people always pine for the greener grass on the other side of the road, because every change or choice has both positive and negative consequences. the closed society longs for freedom and the free society will often long for order.

Bull-fucking-shit. My stepdad was an awesome marine who taught me to shoot guns and dig trenches, DIY plumbing and electrical work, and fix cars. We also both like tattooed chicks, but not TOO many tattoos.
He was just an unbelievably lousy fucking husband and now I'm paying the price for that by spending the rest of my life trying to fix what he broke. So I've got some serious resentment but not in the way you're thinking. I've also never met my biological father, even though he doesn't even live 25 minutes from me. So yeah, I've got an axe to grind about men, sure.
