this doesn't even make sense, the harsh realities of the world dictated a lot of those things, you seem to think we live lives without consequence. the consequence isn't female happiness for example which has always since it was recorded was higher than men. Also mind you with the great con that men played to entice women into wage slavery to tax their labour while paying them less (and drive male wages down) for decades on end female happiness is measurably less now than before.

those are terrible examples.

Earhart was famous and vanished during an transpacific flight, not testing a plane.
she's more akin to Lindbergh, and his baby, or Chuck Yeager. that she happened to die/vanish is more of a coincidence. Granted, that she vanished, did add mystery.

D.B Cooper is famous for vanishing, during a hijacking.

Now, for McAuliffe, yes she is the only one anyone remembers. But there are also pretty good reasons for that.
Due to her being a schoolteacher, there was coverage of the event. far more then normal. In fact, NASA even arranged for it to be shown live in schools.

Exactly. Equality has caused female happiness to plummet to levels approaching men's unhappiness. They act like assholes to compensate, just like men always have.

Men absolutely must adapt to the fact that women have more social and economic power than previously. The ones who don't adapt to a changing environment will not thrive, basic evolution.

Women don't have to act like assholes, but the definition of power is being able to get away with acting like one. And people will do what they can get away with.

Men set an extremely good example for how to behave like an asshole just because you can get away with it.

Men must adapt to women's bad behavior because if MEN don't adapt they will not be happy. Will not reproduce. Will not have a place in society.

All of this assumes men need society.

Society was created for women. Women depend on men to survive. To grow. Men have built the infrastructure, the technology, farmed the food, and (almost entirely) enforced societies laws.

Men are not dependent on society or women. Not for happiness, not for reproduction, and certainly not to thrive. If anything, society and women are the primary agents preventing men from achieving these goals.

Women don't have to act like assholes, but the definition of power is being able to get away with acting like one. And people will do what they can get away with.

Men set an extremely good example for how to behave like an asshole just because you can get away with it.
