Mist, lets not act like DNA evidence hasn't revolutionized rape prosecutions just like it has everything else. If anything, rape probably more so than any other crime since you are literally spewing your DNA all over the crime scene.

Look:

a) the cops don't care unless you have evidence of forceful assault, or if they're being externally pressured, for example, by the school or the media.

b) the media only cares if you have an outlandish story.

c) the school only cares if this is going to make them lose customers, I mean students.

Those are my premises. They're all logically sound.

Conclusion: All of this combines to create an environment that leads to unhealthy cynicism towards real victims. Men can also be victims, both of rape and of the false accusations that the system fosters. The system is broken.

Using speech to terrorize other people isn't something people should be defending. It's not satire or art or in any way socially productive.

I mean, if you really want to live in a vulgar, hate-filled society that terrorizes people just because they can use the law as a shield, go for it. But other people have to live in this society too, and they have every right to try to change it.
