Society didn't *have* to go through feudal times. It was a period of regression and low economic activity. It was basically the west's 1000 year depression.Which every race gender had to go through. Like the average male serf in feudal times.
Mine is my avatar. My picture is in the RL pictures thread somewhere. I have nothing to hide.
Yeah like todays war on boys and men. That's why all this social science bullshit, which seems on the surface to be meaningless for the survival of the species, is actually vitally important. Most of society's problems are human problems that need to be overcome, not scientific ones.
I've been often compared to Leonardo DiCaprio or Orlando Bloom looks wise, so if you want, I can put either of them as my avatar.I wish every post on this thread had a real-life picture of each person as their avatar. I bet this thread would be at least three to four times funnier that way.
No one is denying that at some point in human history, every race or gender has suffered, but you framing the invention of labor saving devices as a favor to women (women who had no choice but to do them because of their total lack of legal status) is the kind of pants-on-the-head-retarded nonsense that normal people laugh at and feminists feast on as red meat.Which every race gender had to go through. Like the average male serf in feudal times.
You have to post a picture when you still had your Journey hair.I've been often compared to Leonardo DiCaprio or Orlando Bloom looks wise, so if you want, I can put either of them as my avatar.
I am also more than happy to comply with this new thread rule.My picture is in the RL pictures thread somewhere. I have nothing to hide.
Was all the way with you until the end where you inevitably and uncontrollably descended into typical GOP herp derp about government programs. My argument is this....Feminists once had noble goals of securing voting rights, achieving educational parity, and opening employment channels for women. But once these goals were met and even exceeded, the activists did not want to lose relevance. Now, they tirelessly and ruthlessly lobby for changes in legislation that are blatantly discriminatory against men (not to mention unconstitutional and downright cruel). Not satisfied with that, they continue to lobby for social programs designed to devalue the roles of husbands and fathers, replacing them with taxpayer-funded handouts.
What are some of the more ruthless tactics they have used to lobby and what are the more egregious pieces of anti-man legislation they have successfully implemented? My argument is this....Feminists once had noble goals of securing voting rights, achieving educational parity, and opening employment channels for women. But once these goals were met and even exceeded, the activists did not want to lose relevance. Now, they tirelessly and ruthlessly lobby for changes in legislation that are blatantly discriminatory against men (not to mention unconstitutional and downright cruel). As much as I hate the concept of rape culture, you're actually making the caseforrape culture, by the way. If you, personally, are going to take all the credit for all the good things men did, then you, personally have to take all the credit for all the bad things men did.
You're just as responsible for inventing the clothes dryer as you are for Elliot Rodger.
Most stupid people aren't.Thank you for wording it like I intended it to sound like. Im not a good writer.
I imagine its just like our current society but all positions of power have women in them so basically feminism isn't a movement for equality, its a movement for dominance.I would like a feminist to describe to me what they see as the end game of feminism and what point society has to reach for feminism to become eventually irrelevant?
If that were true, that would make women and men more similar than we thought. Just two groups vying for dominance: one fighting to keep it , the other fighting to take it away. Of course, in much the same way the story of Bioshock Infinite didn't work, it doesn't quite seem fair to criticize a group for wanting to dominate when they've been the ones being dominated up to this point. That'sifyour statement were true, which it isn't.I imagine its just like our current society but all positions of power have women in them so basically feminism isn't a movement for equality, its a movement for dominance.
This is ridiculous. This is like asking for the endgame of workers rights, or the endgame of scientific understanding of the world. There is no endgame, progress marches on.I would like a feminist to describe to me what they see as the end game of feminism and what point society has to reach for feminism to become eventually irrelevant?
While mine is not precisely my avatar, it's pretty fuckin close.Mine is my avatar.
