Well, that was disappointingly ambiguous, vague, and didn’t really tell the audience anything.

I get the feeling only the diehard mcu fans and ultra comic nerds still care about this stuff because the writers sure as shit do not.
It's just stuff pointing to Secret Wars and the incoming Battleworld fight.

It's so vague it could be pretty much anything and the scene would just as accurate.

"OH SHIT something did happen!!"

Wonder how much USAID funds in the "demoralize America" pot went to propping up the box office numbers of shit like this. We all know Captain Marvel's numbers were complete bullshit and black panther's was always suspect, even with oprah bussing inner city youth's in to theatres like it was a national holiday

did they ever say what rank Sam Wilson actually achieved in the AF?

I know the Captain rank to Cap was an honorary and that's actually kind of important since Rhodey outranked him as a Colonel (AF in movies, Marines in comics)

it's not honorary, he was made a real captain when he lead the howling commandos in wwii, he also has the highest avenger clearance at level 8, hill has 9 and fury has 10

reviews drop tomorrow i think, movie opens a day after lol

they literally made a "wait here for 5 mins, Secret Wars will reboot this shit anyways" movie

bet you Secret Wars reboots Captain America into (young?) Captain Carter too and Sam dies

Yeah, everything is a "just consume the media we put out until we try to pull the most magical of rabbits out with multiversal convergence in SecretWars"

What happens exactly will depend on where we are on the pendulum of "DEI v. Profitability" when they really get into producing/writing SecretWars. If DEI is winning, then yeah we get Major Carter as Captain Britain. If they've swung back to wanting to actually make money, then we probably get a recast Steve Rogers, or Evans if they back up a large enough dumptruck of money. They already even have the "easy button" to put Evans back in. Back in Endgame when they were trying to do time travel and they turned Antman into a baby because as Tony Stark basically put it "You pushed time through him instead of pushing him through time". Do that deliberately to Cap. I do still think if they could get their heads out of asses they could try to pull of Cavill as Capt. Britain.

USAID was involved in a lot of seedy shit like regime changes and whatnot, but we need to stop acting like USAID was lurking behind everything in the world we don't like. We're turning it into a cultural boogeyman and those tend to end up devolving into stupid pretty quick.

Besides, a lot of the money that went into destroying things you like was actually from Blackrock investments!

This scene was so bad (and a product of its time). They introduce a couple of new characters, including one of the FANTASTIC FOUR, and then proceed to have them get their asses kicked in seconds before the women in the room swoop in and much more effectively fight the bad guys. The scene served little narrative purpose except to get Captain Britain over.

It's just stuff pointing to Secret Wars and the incoming Battleworld fight.

At this point the MCU is barely above the DCU in relevance. Their best bet is a full storyline reset after Secret Wars, with a set of characters the audience actually wants to see, preparing for the threat of Doctor Doom over a series of movies (much like they did with Thanos originally). Then once Doom is done, have a plan to transition into another series leading to Galactus. Bring back Thanos and have him be a good guy (mainly so Doctor Doom can obliterate him).

Looking forward to Majors' redemption arc where he stars in George, the February 2028 George Floyd biopic that erroneously presents him as a great guy and family man, and gets massively culturally astroturfed during an election year, while getting a 5% Audience Score and bombing in the box office yet staying in theaters for 6 months.

I thought Armor Wars got canceled?
one of twitter scoop people said it was canceled, then the producer came out and said this
Bad news Marvel fans, it looks like we might have to wait a little longer for the upcoming movie Armor Wars as MCU producer Nate Moore has given a confusing update on the project.

"You know, that’s not my project, to be honest. But, I do know, as Marvel [Studios] continues to go through this phase, we want to make sure whatever we’re making is awesome. So that means we had to slow down some things that were on the front burner,” said Moore in an interview with Collider.

It sounds like Armor Wars may be one of those projects the studio has slowed down on, but this doesn't mean the movie has been scrapped. "It doesn't mean we'll never make it,” added Moore. “But it does mean we just have to be a little bit more considered so that every time out, audiences are guaranteed quality."

They were involved in legacy media, social media, comics, games and other cultural things. So, why wouldn't they be involved in the biggest movie industry in the world?
