I'll give you props for the EVE quote, but Marvel has gotten their shit together. Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Avengers, and shit knows what they might do with a new Hulk movie. Shame they sold the X-men. And Spider-Man, but not so much there.

The Winter Soldier himself looks incredible. He translates awesome to live action and the Falcon looks much better than his comic book counterpart. I'm really psyched for this one.

There was a lot of guns in that trailer, how does Falcon work in that context when his only power is a sweet backpack and the ability to talk to a bird?

Looks cool, he's just always seemed like a pretty weak character to me. And I'm guessing the movie version won't have his Birdquaman powers.

I am thinking in the Universe he is more along Tony Stark and Rhodes, as in anyone can put the suit/jet-pack on but only a few can use it well. As I think Rhodes (War-Machine) is better in the standard suit than Tony Stark due to training. However Tony Stark is better because he keeps upgrading what the suits can do.

What I am getting at is Falcon will just be better with the jet-pack due to skill, training etc. Maybe they are making him a tinkerer like Stark as well to flesh him out more.

Agreed the power levels of the heroes they picked are from limited to god like. But then again that is the Avengers way for as long as I remember. A balanced team with limited to god like power levels.

Limited: Hawkeye Black Widow
Super Human: Captain America, Iron Man
God Like: Thor, Hulk

I am really not sure why but the Avengers have always had that range in small teams. Until the sheet hits the fan times and they get everybody together to stop THREAT SUPER X, Y, Z etc.

in the ultimate universe the falcon is a smart scientist, not reed richards smart, but pretty up there, i think he talks to computers instead of birds. i included ultimate falcon, cuz we all know how the MCU (marvel cinema universe) loves to take it's character cues from the ultimate universe.

they'll probably use his origin story from ultimate universe, since in 616, he lost both his parents became a thug, pimp, beat ppl up, talked to birds n shit, in fact it sounds like the blueprint for mike tyson/(insert rapper name), then he met cap on an island somewhere and they became bff's fighting crime and he became a social worker. (i think they retconn'd him but who cares)

yeah, I think it's pretty much assumed that any origin story is going to pull heavily from the ultimate universe. Though... that wasn't the case for thor... I would have LOVED to seen that. when everyone has super powers, what's more likely? a guy with amnesia and some tech enhancing his superpowers (mjolnir and belt of ogre strength) or THE LITERAL NORSE GOD OF THUNDER. ON EARTH. WORKING FOR GREENPEACE? I really liked how even the reader had doubts about him actually being thor. anywho...

yeah, falcon is going to pull heavily from ultimate falcon. and that's fine.
