Can you make groups and re-arrange them during combat? Takes high skill level to do this

Either way holidays are rough on MMO populations, that and leading is a rough job. I may have to swtch from DPS/heals to tank/heals. We need more peeps like Krassus and Mathblaster etc pushing peeps through raids and possibly CMs, I will try and step up but I am no leader. To be fair you can't carry people through CMs and they really fucked up how much harder it is for melee DPS vs ranged.

Above only applies if you are looking to be in full mythic gear sooner rather than later.

I don't lead anything that's just a misconception, I pug a ton because I have fun raiding in MMO's. I just like to raid and have the initiative to do things myself without having anyone teach me etc.

I used to be a RL so I can lead the Saturday raids just fine, plus I know Highmaul really well since I pug it quite a bit as well. All I ask is that people come prepared with flasks, pots, feasts (if you have them) and at least a basic understanding of each fight. I'd ideally not want to re-explain each fight every week. I want to push through Normal and into Heroic at least and then whatever comes next will be determined by group size and skill level.

For instance Taggor and I had barely tanked Highmaul (at least me) and Krassus gave us a basic rundown and we were able to adapt to that fairly quickly - stuff like that is acceptable to me.

I still haven't done a CM, but I am at 645 now so if anyone needs a tank for one let me know.

I think the worst part of the fight is just how long it takes. The hardest part is that 4th phase, which isn't even that bad but it's different enough from the first three that people need to be paying attention. Spending 10 minutes to get there every pull gets rough quickly.

Some folks in guild were bitching that we only did 3 pulls for Imperator on Wed.

Boo fucking hoo.

That fight sucks dick and if we don't get it to 10% before wiping I'm not wasting my goddamn time on it. I have 3 kills on normal and 80+ wipes. I have 40+ wipes from heroic.

All it takes is one clown hitting a mine in an early phase and what do you know? The healers are out of mana by the last transition.

The fight is a giant waste of 12+ minutes. Gain more gear so we can brute force it when we do our casual friendly wed run otherwise get used to folks saying fuck it after giving up another 30 min of their lives to do a few pulls. Not spending an entire night poopsocking that fight for a shitty trinket that nobody wants.

When I went with krass we had mines on lock mostly, the problem was people would stack up during the multi-nova phase towards the end when you're supposed to spread out and dodge the spheres.

Too many things to keep track of I guess. I felt a little spoiled because Melee get it kind of easy during the fight.

The fight itself isn't hard it all.

It just takes one person fucking up a mechanic early on and then healers are out of mana at the end.

we'll be 7/7 on saturday morning. no fuck ups.

Tanking the fight is pretty goddamn easy, it's almost always the DPS fucking it up

I'm the type of person that needs to see something a couple times so I can't really blame anyone else that has to do that too. And that's how the normal kill worked out for me. A couple pulls that made it into that 4th phase, then finally down it. Problem with that fight, is that alone was like a an hour with spending 10+ minutes to get there twice plus the time between pulls.

I wasn't there for this raid that stopped quick after some Imp wipes, but did the group do 6/7 prior? If so, that's guild progress. More gear the easier this will be for everyone. I do think Noodle's Saturday raids are a good thing. Everyone wants to progress. People do it at their own pace. What we really need is another ~15 or so people to form up regular and make some progress on their own (at whatever pace), then the two groups can combine on Wednesdays or whatever.

I think you can understand Sorrow's frustration though. He's wiped on that fight more than anyone in the guild. He doesn't want to wipe any more to dumb mistakes. It's why I think other raids forming is the best thing. Even if those groups don't clear, learning the fights will make things easier when full guild stuff happens.

I think at least 6/7 won't be difficult. If we can get some solid attempts at Imp then that is good too, but the real good point will be 6/7 boss kills where people are hopefully gearing up. I know last Wednesday the guild got a lot of upgrades. None of the fights are hard, just people need to pay attention. It's not like in Vanilla where you could have 10-20 people who didn't give a shit and still win.
