Just what part of the stadium are you talking about? Still, last night makes you a shit fan. I quoted you as to why.
Because I told you most LSU fans didn't give a shit about the peach bowl, which we don't as evidenced by the turnout of the fans. Much of that was directed at the SEC comissoner who actively and publicly lobbied to have LSU move down a bowl selection. He went to the Peach/Chicken shit bowl and the Cotton bowl and lobbied that LSU would travel better to Atlanta than A&M so they should pick us and at that time A&M would have been matched up against UT in the Cotton bowl which he thought was a dream scenario...then Oklahoma got in because the big east couldn't get a team ranked above #16 and Oklahoma lost their BCS bid.
We do give a shit going forward about the two sides of Les Miles. The lovable side the media and non LSU fans fall in love with and the side where after the game he comes out and blames his players, the side where he sits some of our best players for a game with no explanation like Sheppard last night, the side where he seems to forget games have a clock. If this happened occasionally or every other year nobody would care. It happens enough the TAF (the people who pay his salary) gave him a clock to hang around his neck ala Flavor Flav.
The side of Miles who has lost control of his players. Looking at todays announcements we are losing at least 6-8 juniors to the draft. We are losing 2 sophomores who have annoucned they will either transfer or sit out and then apply to the draft becaus they aren't eligible as sophomores. Players don't trust the coach and that's a bad sign. It's a bad sign when current players tweet they don't understand how the coach can make X call such as not downing the ball and running the clock out. CLM may be the most brilliant coach and playcaller in the world, but if you can't convince your own players of it you are fighting a losing battle. We're talking about a coach that beat Auburn, Ole Miss, Arkansas all by less than a touchdown this year. This is what aggravates fans, it's a pattern of making the game close to satisfy some need he has to make it come down close. We're talking about a coach who was losing to Towson at half and then barely beat them out at the end. A coach who in a close loss tried a fake punt on 4th and 15 on our own 35.
There are many facets to being coach, and in game decisions and time management Les is a failure. The other aspects of the game he excels at and those are the ones that carry him thru most games but it's painful to watch multiple games a year where the ONLY talk after the game is about Miles. This isn't the Les Miles show. Coaches come and go. I've seen a lot of them at LSU since the early 70's. This is LSU football where Miles is hired to coach and one day he won't be coach and the program will go on.
I doubt Miles even hires a new offensive coordinator which is just icing on the cake. LSU doesn't need to fire Miles, but he does need to straighten up and stop trying to make games come down to the last drive against even scrub division II teams.
As far as fair weather fan, whatever. I bet I've been to more road games to cheer my team on as far away as Washington state than you have been to home games in your life.
