They have a rusher with over 100 yards which is amazing how little they have run. They made it here and to the title game last year RUNNING THE BALL, not having Zach sling the ball.

It's just like last year, play one style to get to the bowl game and then in the first half come out with playcalling that is NOTHING like we had to get here. I guarantee I have watched more LSU snaps than you have and this game like last years bowl game has playcalling that is NOTHING like the other games which is what got us to where we are.

Fuck you. LSU fans are tired of playing down to lesser competition and bonehead playcalling when it counts. The fucking game should have ended with LSU running the ball and running the time out on the last drive.

Please tell me how that didn't cost us the game?

LSU fans dont' get pissed when we get the shit beat out of us, we get pissed when we do bonehead stuff like this, when we play the prevent and let Alabama go 80 yards in seconds, when we lose track of time, when we call timeouts we don't have etc...all of those have cost us games in the last 2 years alone and have nothing to do with the talent on the field.


I guarantee you right now before the kick Miles is so happy he can't stand it.

How many sacks would you give up before you got back to the playcalling of running the ball that got you here? Apparently 6 was not the magic number.

I know you're trolling and/or unable to keep that little brother syndrome at bay, but you know that SEC blew out both of the ACC division champions in rivalry week, right? And just to put the cherry on top, South Carolina beat Clemson on their own field.

The SEC is impressive, or else you wouldn't be here crying about it.

Regardless of the shit calling in the first half of passing when we had sack after sack and not having passed that much all year...why not run the ball out and just win? Beacuse it's Les Miles that is why.

Bowl games are about 1/10th of what makes me believe in my conference above all others. They are terrible, terrible indicators of team strength.

My brilliance in bowl pick ems is entirely separate from my conference allegiance.

Did you even watch the fucking game? LSU had the ball with 2 minutes left and threw 3 passes in a row when all they had to do was run the ball and run out the clock. Instead they threw 3 passes and had the clock stopped each time and had to give up the ball again. That is Les Miles football. Instead of the call that 99.9999% of all other coaches that are sane would have done, run the ball and run down the clock and win, and even without a first Clemson only gets the ball back with seconds left instead of 2 minutes. Hell LSU could have downed the ball and only turned the ball back over to Clemson with a few seconds left instead of the 2 minutes we gave them.

If this only happened once a season fans could let it slide. It doesn't. It happens in about 3/4 of our games and possibly more. It happens against teams that are so shitty it's not just a pattern of getting beat by a better team. The same exact thing happened against Towson (LOL) and Auburn (who didn't win a SEC game) - it came down to the last drive to see who won.

Because most LSU fans and at least some of the team don't care. What does LSU prove by beating Clemson? Not much.

LSU has played in Atlanta several times over the last few years in the Peach Bowl and the SEC championship game so no excitement there. LSU didn't sell out its tickets because many fans were ticked at the SEC Comissioner who sold them off into this game after he lobbied the Cotton to skip LSU and pick A&M ahead of LSU. There was already bad blood when Mike Silve managed to let Alabama drop Georgia off their schedule this year and next year in the crossover schedule during conference expansion.

Then throw in the fact LSU is the highest ranked team to play in a December bowl game - EVER. Just not a lot of excitement.

This is the first bowl game that either me or my dad won't be making since before I was born and I'm 42.....nobody in our suite went that I am aware of and normally it's 90% or more out of them.

I guess I'm a fair weather fan for having season tickets/suites for the last 20+ years in my name and our family for more than double that. I guess I'm a fair weather fan for making every bowl game LSU has played in for the last 35 years and some on the road games such as Washington and Notre Dame. Yup I'm a fair weather fan.

I'm not sure what's up your butt unless you lost a bet to someone who said "I bet the Tigers win" and you fell for it.

There's no way even a Clemson fan could defend that playcalling at the end of the game.

The only way you can defend that playcalling at the end is say "I bet on the game and had to cover the spread" because LSU was ahead and could have run down the clock and won, end of story.Doesn't matter what else happend in the game. Miles let the team down on that one.

Hey one of the few games where we didn't let it come down to the last drive or last play.

I don't mind getting beat or even ass kicked, got lots of that as an LSU fan for 30+ years. I get ticked when we let one slip away to a huge mental error. Hell I've seen us get beat by Miami of Ohio (at home), Southern Miss, University of Alabama Birmingham and they aren't as bad as losing to a bonehead series of playcalling.
