Not that it actually matters that MSU jumped you or not, but why is it surprising?

(it doesn't matter because the b10 winner was getting in regardless)

ND's strength of schedule, their only loss to the top team, and a strong loss at that. I dunno. I know I'm biased, but they're a good team.

It's because none of that really matters. It's some faggots voting on their feels.

Every article I've read has stated that their SoS is the issue. They have played a lot of fluff and one real team (Clemson) and that was a loss. They've played close with meh teams. They need to crush Stanford in a convincing manner. That would give them a chance. It is their damn fault for scheduling shit teams and being outside a conference.

Notre Dame really shouldn't get in unless they go undefeated. No one outside the P5 conferences should be considered unless they are undefeated.

If they crush Stanford then their signature win is over a 3 loss team in a very down Pac 12. Does that really remove the SoS argument?

On that note who the fuck has Clemson played? A down Florida state and Notre Dame?

Nobody has played anyone this year.

Saw this for a Doomsday scenario, and since my team was out like 2 months ago, let it be done!

North Carolina beats No. 1 Clemson to win the ACC title AND

Florida loses to Florida State AND beats Alabama to win the SEC title AND

Iowa loses to Nebraska and beats Michigan State to win the Big Ten title AND

Notre Dame loses to Stanford, which loses the Pac-12 championship AND

The Pac-12 produces a four-loss conference champion in USC.

Please football gods I beseech thee

I imagine Genj sitting on a chair listening to his inlaws bored out of his mind coming up with these playoff scenarios.

Then we have 2007 all over again, everything goes haywire in the last 2 weeks of the season.

2007 was also the closest both of our teams have been to playing for a national title :/. We were each 1 win away. ONE WIN AWAY *sob*. Fuck Pitt, and fuck Oklahoma

NCAAF Sagarin - NCAAF Football - USA TODAY

Which is a bullshit, media-driven false narrative. ND's SOS to date is better than Ohio St, Michigan, Michigan St, Iowa, Florida, Oklahoma St, Oklahoma, and Clemson.
But are we surprised the media can't get their facts right?

Well, there's also the "fuck Notre Dame, just because..." factor. I don't have an issue with it

Also, they didn't do themselves any favors by playing in the least competitive national title game in the past decade

Oklahoma is undefeated? I think Foggy would like to have a word with you.
I missed that one for some reason, but they're still ahead of 4 of the 6 teams with at least 1 loss. It all comes down to feels anyways. It's whatever the people voting decide is important that week.

Yeah I tried to look at that and I flat out don't understand it.

Before last week, MSU's final schedule was @OSU and Penn state.

UofM's final 2 was @Penn State and OSU.

The final 2 games for Michigan was considered 9 spots tougher than Msu's. My hope is that I just read it wrong, but I flat out don't understand how that thing can be considered accurate.

I mean, so ND's schedule was tougher than playing Oregon, and on the road against OSU and UofM? When your best win is Navy, I'm really not sure how I can take your ratings seriously.

Another thing: Are we sure Alabama has even one good win AVAILABLE on their schedule? That's real talk.
