According to the commentators, we didn't really hurt anything. Jackson has a great 2nd half and lost by 6 on the road against #5 (with one of the best defenses in the nation). I think we're fine. Lamar will still be the Heisman favorite with the stats he put up.

If we run the table the rest of the season (and beat Houston), I think 2 ACC teams will be in the playoffs. The rest of the conferences have been pretty lackluster. The only conflicting team will be Tennesse, so could be 2 SEC instead of 2 ACC.

Lamar still had: 295 passing yards, 162 rushing (2 TDs). He'll still remain the Heisman favorite as the other Heisman hopefuls have had mediocre games this week except for JT Barrett. Watson had a average game due to all his interceptions.

How are there going to be 2 ACC teams? Why would the committee pick a 1 loss non conference champion like Miami over anyone else.

I just, holy shit that was a fucking game. Ugh. Heartbreaking, but in the end i don't think it really hurts our playoff and heisman chances. Not after a game like THAT.

They will compare the schedules. I am just going by what media pundits have said. Miami has 1 ranked team on their schedule. Obviously if they beat Clemson in the ACC Championship then yes, the outcome will be different and there will NOT be the possibilities of 2 ACC teams in the playoffs.

So 2 ACC teams relies on Clemson winning the ACC championship and us winning out. If Clemson loses 2 games (very doubtful), then Louisville will be back to top of the Atlantic for the ACC Championship.

The only good thing about Bama is when it plays the overrated teams in the SEC and brings the rest of them back to earth. I'm thinking UT loses a close one next week and then gets demolished in two weeks and goes back to being the same ole UT.
