If rankings hold, it was undeniably good for Ohio State that they lost to Penn State. They get the highest ranking they could reasonably hope for (not taking #1 from an undefeated Alabama) and they don't have to risk losing on championship weekend where a loss to Wisconsin could knock them out and put Wisconsin in. Dumb.

If Penn State, Washington, and Clemson all win I don't see why OSU doesn't drop to 5. They played like shit in the Michigan game and only showed up in the 4th quarter unless Speight was throwing the ball right at them. Eye test may end their season.

You know that if that happens Ohio States getting in even when they dont have the hardware (used against TCU/Baylor) and lost h2h vs the B1G champ.

I've tried to get on the OU bandwagon when they aren't playing Okie State (I actually cheered for them last year against Clemson) but it's hard, especially living in Oklahoma. You can only hear so much Dean Blevins and Al/Jim before you lose your mind my friend

I fucking hate Al, Jim, and Dean; it is a stretch to even call them sports media. The absolute best thing about moving to Houston is that I don't hear about the Big XII at all. I enjoy watching OSU and Texas play now just because I don't have to hear the shit flinging every single goddamn day.

Edit: That isn't to say that the Houston sports media is mush better; it's just that I don't give a shit about the Texans, Rockets, or Cougars so I can just listen to them bitch and not care at all.

11-1 and they dominated the conference championship and people are already talking about leaving them out of the playoffs for Ohio State who didn't win their championship and Penn State assuming they win.
