Not an SEC fan yet. UT and OU have one more year to be embarrassed by not even making the BigXII Championship game again next year.

At least you have experience in not making championships so you should have no worries about breaking that streak.

My team won our Conference just like yours did. Luckily we get the number 3 SEC team tomorrow

Michigan held them scoreless in the 3rd. Moral victory right there.

Perhaps an 8 game playoff is completely pointless, and the new rules means the chasm between 2-3 teams and the rest will only get wider. Imagine enjoying this gay fucking sport more than the NFL where at least you can draft a baller. UGA looked great tonight tbf grats to those in Georgia with WiFi

Part of the issue with the current setup is that recruits pile into a handful of teams. Not that recruiting is everything because development and schemes matter too.

NIL might help with that a bit over time. If the playoffs open up a bit you might see more spread out in recruiting a bit too.

Right now Georgia has something like 20 5-stars to Michigan's 3. Again that isn't everything but every little bit adds up.

Yeah the talent disparity in these games was obvious and almost jarring. Cincy Mich Notre Dame whoever could have fluked 1 win but zero chance you win two to win a natty when the talent gap is so huge.

8 team playoff would be the same problem. Same 7 or 8 teams every year with a random wildcard tossed in. Whoever ended up # 9 would bitch.

Make it a 16 team playoff and its be the same 15 or 16 teams with # 17 bitching they got left out etc etc.

That TD was too easy against their backups. Definitely the best non-SEC playoff team. No doubt.

Another year of complete SEC dominance. Long time sec fan here reporting in.
Expanding the playoff will still give you the same result at the end. The other conferences just don't have the talent the sec has.

If ole piss beats the big 12 champs Baylor I’m going to lose it. Kaines Kaines will finally make his 2 team switch complete to longhorns.

If I remember correctly several years ago, Georgia won the sec championship but lost the NC to Alabama on the rematch. Maybe this year is the same, maybe the losing team of the Sec prevails on the NC.

Both teams have the talent, so it may come out to which coach can bring it out and make adjustments. Alabama is not unstoppable this year, Florida gave them a real grind and Ala barely won. They are not the Alabama from 5 years ago.

It's not EVERYTHING, but at these talent levels that is HUGE. Especially with good coaches. Oh, your 3 star corners against two of our 5 star receivers that run a 4.3/4 40? That will eventually show up big time in game.
