I'm already bored with phantom liberty. I feel like I go hours with no combat
It's an infiltration mission, but there are a bunch of places you can just do combat instead.

After Black Sapphire you can just take out the entire lobby because fuck you no other reason.

The DLC is really good. To compare it with the Witcher 3 DLCs, I'd say it is better than Heart of Stone and at, or just slightly under, the bar set by Blood & Wine. I felt it was very much worth the purchase price.

The game is just so good now, after all the fixes and balance updates. They don't deserve a pass for how they launched the game, but they do deserve credit for all the work they put into it after.
Heart of Stone is god tier.

This popped up on my feed and I thought it was pretty sick, might have to download this one at some point.

Fired this up. Haven't touched it since the release.

They really did overhaul this well.

Big fan of not being locked into the story questline for like 6 hours until you're free to do the open world.

You still, sort of, are. Certain areas dont fully unlock until you do that area in the MSQ. Phantom Liberty is a great expansion and ... if you have the computer to run them, the mods that crank up the graphics (there are a bunch of them, pick your poison) - are well worth having too.

One of the few games that has consistently comes up in my youtube algorithm over the years just like Skyrim does.

Recently played through the Phantom Liberty content myself and yeah, CDPR knows how to do DLC. Just excellent throughout and the 2.0 update was a homerun as well. Like the whole package made CP2077 one of the best games I've played.

Have they finally fixed all the cyberware bugs? Capacity in particular was so broken at the release of Phantom Liberty that I never actually finished the DLC.

Can't say I noticed any bugs with cyberware but I didn't play PL at release so not sure what if anything was fixed. I played on PS5.

Skimming my old posts to refresh my memory... the major broken shit at PL release was:

Cyberware capacity was just broken. Some people (mainly those who didn't start a new playthrough for PL) got almost no drops of the consumables and ended up with like 100 less cap than others. Even if you didn't have that extreme of a bug with it, the consumables would eventually stop dropping entirely and there was still a range of about +/-30 cap from one player to the next. Only way to fix it was by using the Save Editor on PC, except nobody really knew what the intended max capacity was at the time. The UI broke at 400+ so that was the only real indicator of an intended cap.

T5++ upgrades for both weapons and cyberware were completely busted on consoles. You did the upgrade and nothing changed (in some cases it got worse even). Load save on PC and everything was fine. Definitely wasn't just a display bug though, I compared the damage too.

Some extremely broken cyberware, like one of the netrunner ones that caused insane amounts of crit damage and basically ruined the game if you used it.

Several abilities in the updated skill trees were bugged, poorly implemented (Edgerunner being #1 offender there), or just plain broken/non-functional. Netrunner was probably the worst tree, I found multiple non-functional skills and there were a few others that were just useless. Netrunner changes also just locked you into a specific playstyle in order to get around the new changes to how enemies detect V after a quickhack. It started out really frustrating, then once you get the correct hacks upgraded a couple times everything is trivial again.

An early post-release patch put cyber arms into the weapon rotation, which was a shitty change because all cyber arms were garbage at PL release. Same patch also made it so when you crafted an Iconic the blueprint poofed, which gimped SMG users (who wanted 2-3 Yinglongs to swap between so that SMG Fun would proc without having to swap to a bad gun and then back to Yinglong).

Probably some others I'm forgetting, but that was the big stuff that made me shelve the netrunner/smart SMG V that I had started fresh at PL release.

Ahh I didn't mess with netrunner stuff too much so it's possible it's still there. I don't think I had any issues upgrading weapons to 5++ that I could tell, at least the damage seemed to go up.

I did start a new playthrough though and that seems to be the recommended thing.

You can do one area worth of open world and side quests but I suggest just rushing through the main quest. Once you see Keanu Reeves everything opens up except the DLC which has it's own intro.

With each passing year I get more and more convinced that the "the universe is just a giant holographic simulation" guys may have something going for them. Fast forward 10-15 years, you have Musk's neuralink, quantum computers, and all the Sim dev companies (the guys who make Farming Sim, Flight Sim, Euro Truck Sim...) have all merged and made one giant sim game that runs on a quantum computer and connects directly to your brain. How will you know you are not just a guy in a sim?

"But if I were in a sim I'd just be banging hot chicks all day!" Well, sure, maybe, but someone out there is playing all the above mentioned "working" sim games instead of playing WifuBanger2077.

Maybe life is just a simulation and we're the dudes who like playing the trucking sim while our buddy prefers the sex sims and is playing Dan Balzinger or whatever the fuck his name is.

Got to the part where Johnny is in.

Is the powerspike here way earlier than previously? I am going fully chromed out Tech/Reflexes Samurai + tech weapons right now. Just using a whatever Katana I found, the arm launcher and some other cyberware. I am effectively unkillable, I am using the Berserk OS So I just super dash in and start slicing. Then pull out a tech shotgun and arm launcher and pretty much anything is toast. Playing on Hard.
