That is extremely odd. My wired 360 controller worked perfectly the first time I ever plugged it into my PC years ago, and has worked with every game since with ZERO setup or configuration needed.

I tried 4 different methods to get it to work, seems to be a rampant issue with a lot of people from what my Google search revealed. The best part was the Microsoft button pulling up the GFWL menu but wouldn't work for anything else.

Jealous. Stay this way for as long as you can stand it. I wish I'd held out longer.

I uninstalled and re-installed the game and now it works fine, time to get my balls beat in.

Installed the HD textures mod and gd it looks good, these zones are really nice too. I just got dropped off by the crow and I'm getting my ass handed to me already.

it has to be "official" the fake ones say xbox360 on the device, the real ones say "microsoft".

i bought one a while ago for a game it works easy, just download the drivers from
Software Downloads: Xbox 360 Controller for Windows

i'm sure whereever you buy it from, they'll give you drivers on disc tho, my pc just didn't have a dvd drive (i have my 1 dvd drive on my htpc, networked) so just download.

i've retired my xbox so i have a bunch of controllers and this was WAY easier than using playjoy (or whatever it's called) for the ps3 controllers.

Well fuck, mine came from Microsoft and it says xbox360 on it. Oh well it works and that's all I care about.

Am I just a faster learner @ pvp in this game or are these people terrible? Hard to tell.

I'd figure I woulda lost my first 10 fights seeing as its been out such a long time.

Early on because of the starter batch of invasion stones invader quality is quite random. Could be you or them that's doing it.

Esp since games tend to increase in popularity with the new or the rusty requiring before a sequel.

Finally pre-ordered today, can't pass up the metal case. Still got my FF12 metal case

What lvl does PvP pick up? Any time I can use a cracked red eye, I do when I enter a zone. Shit has tapered off and I'm hungry.

Mabes I'm too high for my area? I'm lvl 77ish and just cleared crystal caverns.

DS2 PC launch I've seen as late as end of May, but we'll see. After seeing the preview/beta plays of DS2 on console, I will definitely and absolutely wait for PC. I do wish they'd cross platform playing with each other (XBOX / PC at least).
