Pre-patch I know for a fact that if you wore any other type of head slot aside from the biker helm or military - you could get 1 shot knocked out, I don't know if that is still the case after this current patch.I've ran across 4 different kinds of berets (UN, New Zealand, UK and the Russian one shown in the picture below). They were all found in different jails across the map.
Perhaps we can use these as a means to ID ourselves when we do another big group op again.

Ran around for about an hour, only thing I found was a rotten Kiwi and one other guy who didn't have anything on him when I knocked him out. Anyone else have an issue in the menus (such as inventory) where they can't see their mouse cursor? works fine while playing but as soon as I am doing anything else it disappears and I have to randomly click until I am on what I want. Otherwise pretty fun.
Bought the game and played for about 2 hours. Found a shovel and a bike helmet, got attacked by another geared player and I was somehow able to kill him. Looted all his backpack etc and started wondering around. I am now barely able to move and dying of starvation... because I can't find a can opener.

True that I could, but if anyone gets near me that is not a known friendly that person will be eating some bullets.
Confirmed that military tents arenotspawning any loot atm. Also, I've noticed a fuck ton of boots are spawning in jails, hangars, and barracks.
People are also saying do not use a cleaning kit on an already pristine firearm. It is degrading the quality from pristine to worn.
When they said "less weapons" they were really not fucking kidding, belota and nw airfield here, found some rounds and a magnum. Imight just be really unlucky, and i know it was a fresh server because there where shit loads of zombies. Eventually died from one due to lag with a bereta, and a lot of food and gear, ah well.
Ah, edit: not to moan or anything, still like the game but like someone mentioned, there is a fine line between tedious and fun. Not giving up yet though. Fresh prawn! err mean spawn.

Adebisi, you need to join the same type of server you logged out of, not really sure how it work, but thought i lost mine too, turns out i had to log in to anyone called only "regular"

I was playing only regular, not hardcore, and I saw my character reset a couple of times last night. I *might* have changed between constant daylight and normal day/night cycle.
The main irritant for me is still the inability to initially connect and then stay connected. Personally, fixing that would be my top priority over any content.

So, made my first real journey anywhere after initially dying to a zombie and forgetting to make bandages out of my shirt. There is just a lot of legwork in this game, lol. But I got some food, backpack and fireman's ax. Just need to find some guns now. Started on a low-pop server to be better my chances.

Soo, where do weapons spawn now ? And yeah Nemesis, agreed, this patch put the fun factor down a small notch.

The Izh43 Shotgun can be found and medium yield residential houses, barns, farms, and sheds.
Mosins still spawn on the top floor and roofs for schools, roofs for hospitals and fire stations, medium yield residential houses, barns, farms, and sheds.
The Python and FN45X spawn within fire stations, control towers, hangars, schools, and jails.
M4's seem to be only found in jails and hangars.
