He has more than just random swearing. It kind of came off like a trailer made for people who have read a few panels of Deadpool that were posted on the internet. Which is fine for a first trailer, just didn't get me as pumped for it as I hoped.
I am still excited for this, but I think I just let my expectations get way too high for any trailer to meet. Didn't watch the Comic Con stuff.

From the script I read parts of, they definitely didn't show the best parts. Though I BELIEVE if you look at the scene with him and Blind Al, A: He's wearing his full outfit + slippers, classic. and B: He has like 10 advent calendars on his wall. This may be a later reference to one of the funnier parts of the script that comes earlier in the movie, I'm assuming.
I'm pleased that a studio gave filmmakers the artistic freedom to make an R-rated Deadpool movie, but that humor is terrible. It's the same uninspired pop culture references and gratuitous cursing you'd see from Seth Macfarlane or 4chan. Maybe that's how he is in the comics, but I'm not liking what I saw in the trailer.

The 15 second missing from the 1:35 mark is what I liked, they said that trailer was made for diehard fans and thats why theres a Stan Lee and creator Leifeld cameos and 4th wall and this was meant for people that dont know the comic. Those 15-20 seconds made the trailer flow better to me. its not spoilers just gives you a much better idea of deadpool or makes you know they are very loyal with the comics

I think it's going to be tough to pull off in general, the script will be incredibly important for this movie.
Deadpool is a very complex character, he isn't just wacky. The reason for a lot of his victories is that his thought process is so complex and bizarre that it's impossible to predict what he's going to do.
It's a lot to balance but the balance is what makes him such a great character.

Oh it's certainly going to be tough and the expectations for this movie are already off the charts. The good news is everything we have seen so far has been in the right direction.

deadpool is best w/ others, alone, deadpool is pretty boring, he has to work off of other characters. As such the cable&deadpool run by Fabien Nic is great, and then other fucktards made deadpool stupid (like Daniel Way, this retard created Dakken, so you know he's a retard). Only as said, in the previous post does Deadpool become good again, working off the sordid cast of black ops X-men.
