Why Olivia Munn turned down 'Deadpool'
We have to thank Olivia for getting all uppity with her female empowerment or Morena Baccarin wouldn't have happened. Trying to picture if Munn was the girlfriend in thee movie and my brain is saying "GTFO outta here with that shit."

How is this 'female empowerment'? They can call it the female lead all they want, but it's still just 'the girlfriend'. Even if Psylocke is a smaller role, she gets to be a badass. If I had to choose between playing Deadpool's ex-hooker girlfriend or a psychic ninja assassin horseman of the apocalypse, I know which one I'd choose.

Poor choice of words on my part. I should have kept it to the fact that I'm glad she turned it down because Morena Baccarin is several degrees of hotter than Munn, and had great chemistry with Reynolds.

Maybe its that if you dont read the fucking script or know the source material. Deadpools relationship was the main point of the film and his girlfriend will turn into Copycat in the next film. Psylocke probably wont say shit in X-men or be the main driving point of the movie like Vanessa in Deadpool

She (Munn) infers more sexual content in interviews and all her g4 shit than she'll ever play in a "Real" movie role. Her point was about acting growth. Consider she's a legit sword fighter now I realistically can't give her a hard time about it.
I like both actresses equally and have seen all of their stuff. As far as acting goes...Baccarin always struck the empathy cord in me while Munn has always been the smart hot girl who hangs with dudes too much.

I've been a shameless Baccarin fanboy since Firefly. Her and Reynolds definitely made the movie better. They were great in the roles and had fun with it. That said, I'm sure Munn would have been good too.

Oh Deadpool, The Rob Liefeld as a "genius" is the greatest joke you ever told. Joe Kelly should be on that commentary track.blu ray holds up, watched it last weekend at home and its just as great on the second watch. Already have it pre ordered from amazon and will watch again with the commentary track
