Secured an Asrock X870E Taichi Lite.

Now I gotta wait to see if I want a 9950x3D or just a 9800x3D.

This getting old thing sucks. Case finally showed today. Except my back is too messed up to do any more than drag in into my office so the cat doesn't try to eat it.
Thankfully after Superbowl Sunday, I'll have a lot of free time to maybe get something done.

If I can ever find a place with this case in stock that's exactly what I'm going to do. But 10 drives total in a mix of SSD HDD

Skimmed over this, I understood this right:
Nvidia saved costs, removed one or two shunt resistors, hilarity ensues:

Is GameMax a company that sells in NA? They list Newegg as a US distro but for the life of me I cannot find the case I'm looking for, for sale anywhere.

You can get ridiculous deals on WD SN850X SSDs right now on Newegg if you combo them with anything on their combo configurator.

$66 total off a 4TB, making it $233.99.
$36 total off a 2TB, making it $123.99.

Plus whatever combo discount you get off the other item(s) in the combo.

In middle of going back to atx from mATX so I can move to 9800x3D and a HAVN 420 Case.

I am rather fond of Phanteks NexLinq software. Bad software is why I’ll never touch LianLi fans again.

I'm getting rid of my Lian-Li fans currently, last of the noctua parts came today. After I do bills this week I'm backing everything up and tearing it down for a case swap. L-connect 3 is garbage.

I havent had a AMD cpu in a minute. I think the last i had was a 5950x and that was for a short period of time. Trying to decide on what is the best ram to go with but uncertain. At current i have a kit of ddr5 7200 CL 36 or so. However its not amd expo, and i know nada about fuckin with timings. I did some research about IF last night and it seems it would run at 1:2 but that 1:1 is better. So whats the best 48gb or 64gb kit for this?

Wise decision, i got rid of LL everything after i was one of the testers and realized how they do shit. I wont ever touch any LConnect rubbish again. The Nexlinq is great, but it cant control my ram so will figure out what to do with that next.

You’ll want some CL-28 to 30 6000mhz with SK Hynix chips (you can autist them out via Gigabyte motherboard memory compatibility lists) or just look for things with 30-39-39-XX timing. The >38 timings on low cas latency is typically a sign of hynix chips. G-Skill has been my go to for memory my last 5 computers.

I have G.Skill in mine. Had them for the last 4-5 builds myself. They usually have good kits for good pricing.

Gang I'm a Noctua newbie. Bought 140mm fans for my refit, they come with a silicone anti-vibration mount that is screwless. Anyone had any luck with them? I usually use screws but I don't want to warp these.
