For future reference if you didn't know about this site it really helps when building new computers:www.ninite.comComputer is all together and up and running. Going through and installing all my programs now. You guys weren't kidding about the SSD though. Shit is just smoking fast, I am absolutely loving it. Only issue I have at the moment is I installed 16gb of ram, but it is only showing 8gb. Need to open the computer back up and make sure I seated it properly.
Old computer: Q6600 2.4 ghz, 4gb ram, GTX 260
New Computer: i7 4770k, 16gb ram, GTX 760, SSD
That would've been my next bit of advice, sweet! It is 2x8GB. Just opened it back up and it wasn't seated all the way in. All set now!
$$$Slightly off-top but wasn't sure where else to post this. I am running an online webinar next week with like 15-20 companies. I need to share my screen with upwards of 25 people at once and would prefer to keep it so all they need to do is go to a link in order to see the screen. Does anyone have any free websites or software they use for this?
I've never liked the naming conventions for graphics cards. I'd much prefer something closer to how cars are named, with a year/make/model style and simpler names using fewer numbers. So for example a "2013 Nvidia ExtremeCard". If another version is released in the same year, just append a "version 2" or something at the end so it's clear that it's an upgraded version of the previous card. If a less powered version is released call it "2013 Nvidia ExtremeCard Budget".AMD changing it's naming/numbering scheme for graphics cards
