God I want this...
Check the wall and the plumbing on the right. This guy actually lives in the basement. Fits the theme I guess...

I think the 799 model is a lot more useful than the 999 model.Seems like a ton of $ for a low performance desktop. $1k plus you need to buy memory and SSD? That's absurd when you start pricing out desktop equivalents.
My HTPC uses an Intel NUC from a few generations back. I love it. I just think they have lost their mind on the pricing of this new generation.
always more ram for work pcsSO my little company needed new Computers after convincing my boss relying on 10 + year old core 2 duos and ancient 10 year old HD's as your multimillion dollar company is retarded,
I was gonna just make Build the machines but holy shit this is heresy some of these premade prices. have to be loss leaders. especially when Rx 580s go for so much.
Over the Sumer I got 2 Ryzen 5 1400 8gb ddr 4 24000, 1tb HD 7200 rppm, and an RX 580 4gb for $650ea at best buy..
2 Months ago for $820ea I got us 3 Ryzen 7 1700x with full 8gb RX 580s factory OCed at 1390, same HD and RAM as last ones bought. But I added SSD for about 100 bucks ea, I plan on adding another 8gb ram to some once the price goes down so they are at 16. They even came with nice 90 bucks Phantek Cases and Decent 90-100 buck b350m MSI MBs...Decent modular Bronze 80+ Power Sources from Corsair also. They even came with DVD RW drives i think Blue rays...
Overall I feel like we got 3 high endish gaming/work PCs for under 1k total (assuming we upgrade to 16g ram) and 650 for some very nice highmid-high end gaming machines..
The great thing is my boss doesn't give s a shit about gfx tooo much I'm considering trading those extra rx 580s For say some lower end card's and card, or Crossfire 2 on my gome gaming machines. The SSD+ Ryzen 1400 and 17000x has his just ecstatic...
Now maybe after looking for ages for sales i could find a computer with nearly as good specs at those prices. version, but with the nice Warranty Cyperpower PC tech support for life... I even got like 300 bucks in best buy dollars to basically get all the SSD for free... plus no need to buy a windows license and less work actually putting together PC.
It's apparently all but impossible to buy high end video cards right now
Edit: Overclock your processor you heathen
