I asked here in the past about Beelink mini PC's. Well I'd been eyeing one as a possible replacement for my wife's PC and another cheaper one for the living room video head end. Over the weekend I noticed the one I'd been eyeing for my wife went from $749 to $599 so fuck it , I bought 2! First one just showed up , I'll report later after I have it set up. If it's shit, I'll send them back.

Just FYI, the amazon links are broken because the media addon needs to be updated. Amazon discontinued the embeds, but the addon still tries to convert amazon links to embeds.

All these tools out here talking about how they will be getting a 5090 and selling their 4090s that they just got this year. I am here like "it took you a year and change to get a card but youre selling it under the expectations that botters are gone?"

Isnt the expectation that a 5090 is going to be even more rare now since they dedicated more of the fab to the AI shit? For a hobby builder, I could see you getting one. But a 5090 is just not worth the effort for me, at this point.

I can't imagine it would. Games aren't using the 16GB+ on the halo cards, and Nvidia wants to keep the market segmented between gaming cards and AI cards.

The 4090 is already 24gb, all of them. It has more to do with the memory bus width on the GPU.

I dont even know at this point. I am half tempted to just halt altogether considering I don't even game beyond a few titles a year.
Built my first PC, using an ASUS B550-A mobo, can’t for the life of me getting the sound working. Tried downloading new drivers, still no luck. Any ideas?

i meant are you sure it's coming out the realtek digital/analgue as opposed to your hdmi on your tv/monitor

For the sake of clarity, he was asking what the sound output device is set to. Often times, for example, it gets set the HDMI sound device on the GPU instead of the onboard audio when the GPU drivers get installed.
