It's true though, right? I mean, SSDs are awesome and all that, but how often do you really reboot?this guy
You realize that SSD's improve the entire computing experience, and not just booting, right? It's true though, right? I mean, SSDs are awesome and all that, but how often do you really reboot?
Do they? *shrug*You realize that SSD's improve the entire computing experience, and not just booting, right?
Right?
Pretty much this. It's something that once you get used to it, you don't necessarily notice much. But if you go use a computer that has a platter drive, the damn thing nearly feels broken. An SSD is the most drastic upgrade & new piece of hardware I've added to my PC since 3d accelerators came on the market 17-18 years ago. Everything is just snappy and instant, from web browsers, to quicker virus scanning, to games loading so fast you can even read the tips on the loading screens. It would be difficult for me to use a computer without one now.
that sounds like a job for a nerdCould you also slap together a Common Computer Core curriculum to reeducate the wannabe nerds? Perhaps design some Mac software for training courses.
Ur basic stuffI'm going to start making a list of nerds who suck at being nerds. Quaid and that moron who didnt understand PC vs Console are first on the list.
This is basic stuff people
Will probably buy something really similar to this when the 880s come out. Here's what I've been looking to upgrade to:
GIGABYTE GA-Z97X-UD5H-BK LGA 1150 Intel Z97 HDMI SATA 6Gbs USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com
Intel Core i7-4790K Haswell Refresh Quad-Core 4.0GHz LGA 1150 Desktop Processor BX80646I74790K - Newegg.com - Newegg.com
SAMSUNG 840 EVO MZ-7TE500BW 2.5 - Newegg.com
G.SKILL Trident X Series 16GB Desktop Memory Model F3-1600C7D-16GTX - Newegg.com
Left off video card because of new stuffs coming out soonish. Will probably buy everything through Amazon (just prefer Newegg for browsing) since I have $200 credit with them via their credit card rewards. It's actually a pretty sweet deal if you're like me and buy a ton of stuff on there cause of free Prime shipping. 3% cash reward for Amazon purchases which since November of last year for me has added up to $200 to use on their site.
If you make the list I'll edit the original post with people who's recommendations and viewpoints should be ignored.I'm going to start making a list of nerds who suck at being nerds. Quaid and that moron who didnt understand PC vs Console are first on the list.
