NopeOnce you get to 300 base I think they start popping out at 305.
I know nothing about this Faction Rally stuff. Is this pretty sound advice? FWC?As far as PVE goes, just wait for the faction rally to start, pledge FWC, and get The Number. It's the best energy AR; HCR does fuck-all in PVE content.
Nothing wrong with Origin Story/Manannan SR4 either. I keep that setup on my warlock so I don't have to bother doing a weapon swap when I go from hunter to warlock.
Are they "good" as in serviceable, or "good" as in better than what's already considered the best of each class of gun? I've been doing a pretty good job of collecting the best weapons of each type and so I wonder if it's even worth bothering.
Does anyone know what the best way to maximize your 3 characters weeklies is? I'm sitting at about 283/285/294. If I do the weakest ones first, I think it'd be better for the 294 guy, but then I'm thinking maybe if I do 294 guy first, it'll boost 283/285 much more than they'd get otherwise. I don't know why I care so much since we've still got plenty of time for December, but I'd like to hit 305 on two if possible.
Here's what I do.For efficiency and maximization, now that everything has reset, is there an order I should be doing patrols, those blue quests, raids etc?
I hit 285 last night, and noticed that everything dropping was 277. Outside of the raid, what do I need to do to get gear that's above 277?
Here's what I do.
Toss enough gunsmith parts on the Arms Dealer to get an engram, but don't accept.
Check DIM to see what my base power is.
Do a milestone that rewards a Powerful Engram.
Check Arms Dealer again to see if he's offering a higher level engram (he should be, by 1-2 levels).
Run PE's or Strikes or Lost Sectors or whatever til you get a few pieces at the new power level.
Check DIM again and see if you're close to the next level; I've found that generally around xxx.8 that I start getting the next level up. If you're at like xxx.4 with 2 slots left, don't bother running PE's or Lost Sectors though.
Go ahead and do the next milestone and repeat. If you're done on a character, transfer over your highest level weapons to your other characters and start over with them.
That's how you maximize. The higher you get, the less likely increasing the rest of your gear matters though. This is mostly because you'll start filling up all your slots with much higher gear. For instance, on my 294, I really only have 2 slots right now I think that could even increase above my base level. Most of my gear is around 295-297, but my base level is like 289. I don't actually know how that works, because it seems like my base should be higher, but it's not.
How does the raid play into that? I've heard people talking about high level loot just raining down on them (getting 305 items, etc). And can you run the raid more than once on a single character?
Edit: ^ surprised he doesn't get hit with chest lockout on that. Also, what's the point? Do you need a massive amount of tokens for some reason?
If you don't want to get tokens like 10 times slower than we got them on console last time around, do this before it gets patched: Bungie: we don't want you farming faction tokens so we removed the lost sector method. players: check out this even faster token farm • r/DestinyTheGame
