Ya, I wasted my damn time with this game. When the end game is a "raid" that you beat in a couple hours, with never playing the game in any of the iterations...WITH PUG's. You get bored pretty fast.
When the end game is starting over on a new character (with the same story)...You get bored pretty fast.
Shit sucks because my buds who conned me into playing this even stopped playing!

I'm already bored and I'm only level 14. The character progression in this game is pretty poor. I get upgrade points and don't have anywhere exciting to spend them. I get weapons that only allow me to keep up with the enemies scaling with my level instead of allowing me to beat them down faster and better.
You know your game sucks when it reveals its repetitive nature before you even finish leveling whilst promising almost nothing exciting at the endgame. Someone please tell me the endgame items are extremely OP and really change how you play the game.

Nope. They don't. Matter fact I feel exactly the same in the old zones I go back to to complete missions. Still taking damn near as many shots to kill shit as it did when I 1st started playing. I don't care enough to even verify this...they must scale/cap damage, so you NEVER feel a sense of "that was worth it" since shit only dies a second faster. My raid guns are my secondary weapons (Minus the rocket launcher). They LOOK all golden and shiny, but other guns feel better, and kill shit just as fast.

Yeah, damage caps out based on the planet you're on. So for instance on Earth, the highest you can do with your favorite scout rifle is 50 damage per hit; whether its level is 120 or 305. Go to Titan and it might bump it up to 55.
The enemies scale up with you.
So essentially you never progress. You're just as powerful against the enemies when you get to the planet the first time as you are with maxed 305 raid gear.
I think my first inkling that something was fucky was when I saw a post about how even the blue Antiope was better than most other guns. It was a clue that the actual level and rarity means fuck all. Oh, you found a new exotic? Too bad it's a shitty one and not even worth keeping, and it's dwarfed by the free one you got questing...that you can also just pump up its level by fusing something else into.
There's literally no progression in the game. And I don't know how they could even fix that. Random rolled stats aren't going to let you kill faster when everything is artificially capped anyway.

Some sandbox changes go live today and some next week as well, and we have The Dawning soon. Also not caring about new content, maybe you should just play a different game lol.

On console I can see some changes but on PC? I mean everything can be used and is decent, other than like 110 rpm hand cannons, 150 rpm scouts and the 360 rpm pulses. They would have to make the scout and hand cannon 3 shot and the pulse a 2 burst which they will never do because they would be among the best ttk weapons then. But other than this, I really see no problems on PC. You can use pretty much everything else and do good.

The amount of bitching and moaning is too damn high.
Edit: I should say my only complaint is the lack of vault space. Which, until now, was a minor gripe. With all the new stuff I think it'll become a bigger problem.
