What’s sad is I am always happy with cosmetic and QoL MtX and will never mind spending small amounts of money to support studios but I can’t justify the shit I’m seeing here. Obviously people must be buying it, I just don’t understand how...

When I bought the season pass I went to the next step up for silver, and then the warlock set was on sale... so I bought it with a bit of the remainder. I won't ever go full whale, but I don't mind tossing in extra.

Bought the Upgrade edition on Steam, haven't played since Launch. Preparing to be totally overwhelmed, think I'll start a new character. Only had a Hunter before, gonna do Titan this time.

There's gonna be a lot of confusion. You'll probably want to start by talking to Amanda Holiday in the tower hangar, you can get the old year 1 campaign quests from her.

Is there any reason to do those now since they dont even give you the exotics as quest rewards anymore, like sunshot, doomfangs, etc..?

Yeah maybe for the story, but If I went through it before at launch I would actually just do Forsaken myself.

doing the older stories is fine, as you're still getting upgrades doing it. you won't get the storyline exotics like you said, but it'll function as a tutorial for the game while still giving you drops that level you up. and besides, there's going to come a point where you run out of content, so you mght as well do the older stuff while it still serves a purpose

So I made a F2P noob account just to see this new light shit. I mean, Im coming into it with vast game knowledge that noobs dont have. But so far its OK. Went through the opening shit like in D1 then it made me do a strike. Go and meet the tower peeps. Its as far as I have gotten.

I'm guessing gear makes a big difference in pvp. I jumped into a match and my shitty newbie weaps were doing barely any damage while I was getting consistently 2 shot, lol.

Nahh. PvP in this game is 90% about positioning and rotating properly. Lenas Lenas posted a video of a dude doing competitive as a froob account with starter weapons.

Dont get me wrong, good rolled weapons will be better than not having them, but thats not the end all be all of pvp in this game.
