So I just saw a public event and got a gold. Netted 1 ascendent shard, and one mote of light.

Then since its also a daily got another ascendent shard.

Does anyone know a good spot to farm the public events? Was thinking on the moon at that spot with the servitors

Is there any matchmaking for story mode? Hate doing shit solo..

Was checking out the Grimoire earlier and noticed it showed 0 dead ghosts found so far when I've located 3 in the tower, glad it's accurate.

Looking at my equipment, I absolutely do not understand the stat management on legendarys.

One piece of blue equipment has 100 intelligence on it. With 4 pieces of legendary you get max 192..

They basically half the stat so you can have a secondary stat, but 192 isn't going to max the stat you want. I have more int then that now without full legendarys and I'm only at 72% int.

This wouldn't be a problem if they let you have multiple exotics, but I think you can only have one.

Blue Equipment only boosts one stat while Legendary will boost two. If you hover over the stat string, you'll see how effective the stat contribution is. It maxes out at 100% (I don't recall what the cap is) but with Legendaries you get a better overall spread, while Blues will just pump one.

Zarcath are they still capping it at one equipped exotic?

For Sunsingers, INT> everything.

To reach 270 ,going by the exotic arms in the store which is 90, you would need 3 exotic armors.

Zarcath can you tell us if any of the fixes/adjustments we've been discussing here are possibly going to be patched in anytime soon? Here is my list from a few pages ago:

-audio options - ability to adjust sound effects/voice/music independently
-proximity voice chat
-new emotes that are useful - replace the current ones with follow, raid?, strike?, group? or an LFG interface
-make grimore cards (and all the website only stuff) viewable from in-game
-add "named" rare spawns to the maps that actually drop good and/or unique loot
-let us use matchmaking for whatever strike/raid/mission we want
-if someone disconnects or drops your group mid-mission/strike, make it a priority for matchmaker to refill that slot
-overhaul the 1-20 gear so good stuff drops a little more often
-add unique attacks to mission/strike boss mobs
-allow cutscenes to be skipped (immediately or after you've already seen them once)
-change the stat display for weapons so they are numbers not bars
-when you change the social box for fireteam settings, make it save instead of going back to the default every time you log off.

I'm sure he can only discuss what is in the current game. Otherwise someone will run to reddit, and post that Bungie is changing stuff, and it will end up on every news site.

there has GOT to be a change to the emotes... I can only yell so loud at my non-communicable fireteam to STOP GROUPING UP IN THE DOORWAY IN PHOGOTH'S LAIR!
things I need: a "follow me" emote
things I don't need: a sitting down emote

or hey... how bout add that original raid finder that wow had. the one where you basically just flagged yourself in the ui for wanting to do a certain raid. then people could invite you or you could invite others.

how about if holding down on the d-pad brings up a menu of 15ish emotes that you can then assign to up/left/right?

Just finished the final story mission, I really have no idea who the last bad guy was, who the evil factions are besides "bug head guys, devil guys, and robots" (or why they are fighting each other and us), or pretty much anything. Just a terrible, terrible story/plot/immersion/advancement/everything single player. I think Battlefield 4 had a more coherent single player campaign.

Still the game is fun, I am enjoying PVP and getting slowly better at it. My D2/MMO days are long behind me, not gonna sit and grind 8 hours a day for +gooder stats, especially with the goofy dungeons that all are the same mechanic boss-fight wise. But if I can slowly eke out small gear upgrades with a few PVP games a week I'm happy.

Oh if you go to Earth and hunt down those level ?? we saw in beta, turns out to be level 20 mobs. They have an entire small area down there with an Ogre, two Wizards, and some trash. Opens up a cliff side that connects to Fallen Shore. Didn't find anything around there (chests nor dead ghosts) but it was fun exploring around a weird little level 20 minizone on a level 1-8 Planet.
