He was in that area that's otherwise closed. The one right above that tunnel thing that takes you to those class leaders, and behind the bounty-guy.
The more I think about it the more I'm worried that people will "feel" like there isn't much content. Because although they constantly say it's not an MMO it still feels somewhat like an MMO. And most MMOS come with a lot of content usually 3 days /played at least. When the whole game you feel like your playing an MMO then you hit max in like 30 hrs or something people are going to think they are being short changed. I mean it's only 20 levels and getting to level 8 is really fast,

I agree, ive thought about that too - but supposedly they dont mind you leveling to max in a short period of time because youre then supposed to gear up which i guess will take a bit of time. I wonder how much content there will be tho - beyond the story im hoping for alot of exploration to do on different planets with different strikes etc prior to the raid.
Damn. I fucking suck at the PVP apparently. It's my first competitive multiplayer on console though. Got any tips except for "git gud"? I'm playing titan as well, if that makes a huge difference.

Getting a good weapon makes a huuuuge difference. I know that sounds obvious but its more complicated.
I use a Cydonia-ar2 which is a good gun. But I also farmed until I got one with a good ability. Mine has "kills with this weapon increase reload speed for a short while" it allows for multi kills since I dont die while reloading. Coupled with the auto rifles reload speed sleevea I reload very very fast.
Learn the maps. Fight dirty (abuse vehicles) avoid open areas. Learn to use the radar. When someone is getting close a red cresent will apear on the outer edge of your map. When a slice fills red they are very close. Plan grenades and what not according to your map.
Mostly just get a weapon setup you are comfortable with and play a lot of games.
Interesting, guess the 26th is the big day to log in. Guess there will be permanent rewards that day.

My impression after the weekend: Way too much thoroughly generic PVP retread, not nearly enough Borderlands-done-right. The beta managed to get me to add it to my GameFly queue, and I'll level up a titan to 20 and mess around with whatever their "endgame" PVE is, but there's no way I'd consider paying $60 for it.

nice little profit for just changing an address on amazon, i like this game but don't think its really that spectacular and think it would be 10x more fun on PC, will definitely play at launch but not really sure I wanna keep my ghost preorder

I was going to pre-order this on Amazon, but I already got a beta code from someone else. Why pay $12 for tax + 2-day shipping when I can get it for $60 on the day of at a store? Are there any other benefits?
My impressions. Only played it for 3 hours. I still think people sinking 40+ hours into the beta in one weekend are insane, but to each his own. I enjoyed it a lot. Graphics are great, classes play very nicely, and had some fun.
One time I got stuck in a menu in the game and although it was making noises as if I was moving around/hitting buttons, the game was essentially frozen on that menu. Had to hard reset the system. Kind of bogus. Didn't lose any progress or anything though.

the thing i hate most about this game is that the story is disjointed and confusing to me. i forgave the alpha since it dropped us in the middle, but the beta shows all the intro videos and starter sequences, right? I love the immersion of Mass Effect, Halo, Creed, Borderlands, etc but this just has me scratching my head. If this was a movie or TV show everyone would be savaging it for the worst pilot ever made.
As I understand it, mankind went to mars and found a giant silver sphere. it created companion cubes to communicate and work with us, and we got some good technology for a couple hundred years. then the "darkness" came and fucked us over, and the sphere came to earth and created the last safe haven aka "the tower". peter dinklage found our dead body in a russian auto junk yard and rez'd us, and now we do stuff the cube tells us because we are retarded.
who the fuck are these blue people? or the robot people? why do the "darkness" npcs just hang around old russia, chilling out around what looks like a 80s schwarzenegger set? Why do I keep going off into warp speed Star Wars style, when all I seem to travel between is points on Earth and Mars? I tried looking for some lore on bungie.net but it started talking about some place called The Reef in "the distant black" where humans now are, I assume thats outside our solar system but not really sure. If we are Interstellar, isn't the "The Darkness" everywhere? Why the fuck did that stupid silver sphere come anyways, it even says the Darkness is its ancient enemy... so did it lead its enemy straight to us? what an asshole

yeah, I remember meeting the speaker and him saying, "I could tell you about the traveler and the darkness. but i'm not going to." listen douche, I don't know anything about this game other than shoot things. i'm not playing your game because I owe you something. tell me why i'm here and tell me now.
I got my iron banner purple cloak last night. I wonder if that is one of the things you can keep for live since it has no stats.
