Do ppl just farm the strike mission over again for those drops or roam around the cosmodrome explore mode?
I've been mostly cosmodrome roaming picking up missions and killing shit. My grimore score is around 600 because of it. Honestly though it is getting boring and PvP is hit or miss depending on if we are facing MLG-types on the other side or average players like I would call myself. I would be interested in seeing if running a fireteam in Explore Cosmodrome mode would cause better missions/loot to appear but we need more people on. Biggest group I've had for it was just me and one other (Gator I think) so far.
To be fair I am not bored with the game, I am bored with doing the very limited content that we have during beta. Some of the blue drops look pretty cool but I can't use then at level 8 and I have seen some awesome random weapon mods that I can only get if I get a lucky random weapon drop farming Devil's Lair x 50. Kind of sucks. I want more game!
We have made some interesting tests if anyone is interested in this info.
1. Loot drops are per player. No one else sees your loot drops so go ahead and pick em all up.
2. Chest opens split the loot to everyone.. I think. We opened a chest and it gave us each the same glimmer. Not sure how it would handle gear but that's rare enough.
3. Events are random but do seem to occur more frequently based on the number of players in a given area.
4. The level 20 mobs are immune to damage. I'm not sure but I think if a mob is ?? to you it might be auto immune to your damage.
5. Ghosts appear in the same places for everyone but if you found it once already you personally won't see it again. So go ahead and show people ghost spots as you find them.
6. Same for golden chests.
7. Finding all 5 golden chests awards randomly one of the purchasable speeders that have double the speed of you starting speeder.
8. PvP and Explore Cosmodrome voice chat is limited to your fire team. No way around it at this time unless you invite randoms to your fireteam.
9. You can look at your friends list and join someones fireteam any time. I think you can turn this off if you don't want people joining on you.
10. There is a ghost in the Iron Banner area when the event is running. it's sitting on the railing.
11. The Iron Banner guy has a class item that you can wear at Iron Rank 1 (Not hard to get). Seems entirely cosmetic.
12. If the Iron Banner event ends but you are still auto queuing Iron Banner matches you can keep going until you quit. Once you quit you can't go back in until the next event.
