did you black out your paragon level?

So I think I might just roll a wizard or a monk to fuck around with for a while. Any suggestions for which? Wizard seems kind of nice since I can use some of the shit my WD has/has stashed.

What am I supposed to get in that picture? A new farming location? Or you just dropped a bunch of rares on the ground?

Going back to crafting, I have 6 prop belt and hat recipes if anyone would like me to craft some things for them. For example, the hat can roll 300+ main stat/vit, a skill, and socket, or main stat/crit/skill/socket, it can not roll something like main stat/vit/crit/skill/socket because those are all primary affixes and they always roll 4 primary/ 2 secondary. If you are going for a particular skill it can take quite a few crafts for just the one you want.

I found out there are all new crafting materials in RoS so you don't need to hoard your crafting materials.

Does anyone have the gehennas(actually are these tradeable? maybe not) or a 6 prop leg plan? I might be interested in rolling some if someone didn't mind taking the time to help.
The legs are BOA, as are all craftable sets and legendary's now, as far as I know.

I'm having the opposite experience with my barb. I can do up to Torment 4 pretty easy but I find it inefficient so I just farm Torment 2. I've gone over what I do and really the only problem with the build is trying to kill stuff that likes to scatter. But if they scatter I just let them be and move on to the next packs. Which is why I prefer to farm in narrow hallway zones like Act3 and Act1. I just spam cleave @ 100% fury. If the elites are still dead after surviving the wake of the cleave AOE spamming while killing the whites I just HOTA them. The fire SOJ really increased my overall DPS because it meshes so well with HOTA since I want Smash anyways and I only ever use it on elites.

Well before this gets hotfixed, some more details would be nice. I see it is off the oasis...

Yeah, I'm not getting the Barb frustration.

Pre-patch, I tried to avoid the whole WW/WotB thing, and opted to use abilities like Rend and Furious Charge. But post-patch, I've been experimenting with different builds, including using more Whirlwind - and fury generation hasn't been a problem in the slightest.

I originally used Unforgiving, Animosity, and Weapon Master (with a mighty weapon) because I think I was worried about a lack of a fury generator (outside of Leap and Ground Stomp/Threatening Shout/War Cry, which I've been switching between to see which I like best), but I now just use Unforgiving, and combined with Wind Shear from Whirlwind, my fury almost never runs low. Usually the only time that happens is against single targets that take a very long time to kill, but even then, using Leap + [what ever other generator I'm using] on cooldown are enough to keep Whirlwind going.

I guess I can't really speak to how things were pre-patch in that regard, but it seems more than fine to me now.

I've also messed around with using Cleave/Rend and that was easy to keep my fury up. I've tried builds that use HotA and Seismic Slam heavily (as well as Ancient Spear for a throwing build), and yeah, if your goal is to spam a rage spender like that, you're going to need to alternate between spending and building, but I would think that is to be expected?

I've played my Wizard a little, but honestly have found my Barbarian to be more fun. Although, I guess that could be because he's better geared (even if they're both pretty terribly geared by most standards).

This, it should be expected. It is kind of funny to me seeing barbs complain about fury generation now. You mean, you actually need to build your resource pool like other classes and you don't just have an infinite amount anymore?

I had some doubts with my barb as well but finally found a build that destroys, can solo tier 5 but T3/4 is prime farming. While my build is very gear dependent(weapon with full fury/self buffs I bump up to 144K DPS) doesn't change the fact I can stand in a mass of mobs while killing them. Just need 1 more piece of Kings for the awesome 4 piece(Chest prefered) and some Pox Faulds, my belt/wrist combo also keeps 3 stacks of neph up most of the time which just adds to the DPS.

Short verison warriors have always been gear dependent and I am okay with that.Tessai - Community - Diablo III

isnt that the one where you kill the pruple and run it back to the corpse pile it changes back into the original mob?

Yea. It's almost not worth it given how fucking rare the event spawns.

Act 2 caldeum sewers waypoint, look for the somethingsomething Husk purple dude with 4 piles of bodies. DO NOT KILL THE BODY PILES OR HIS GHOST FORM, he'll go get a new physical body from the piles that drops boss loot every kill.

Yeah I mean if you are going to brag about exploiting that's cool, but don't be a dick and not just explain what it is so others can join in. (NM you just posted some about it.)

It's just a purple you can kill over and over and it respawns itself.

It's fun, but holy fuck I think it took like 20 game resets to get him to spawn. Might be more worth it on higher torment/with a full party to farm legendaries.

Having the new immortal kings 3 pieces helps a ton.

I have the 6 boot plan.

Thanks!

So basically buy 6 slot archon? plans then spam craft until good loot shows up? Whats the probability on great rolls now, do they smart loot?

They do. If you have shitty gear the probability of getting an upgrade would be high. But it is still hard to get every roll perfect. It is easier now since pre-patch we had to roll shoulders of VIT but you could get a big main-stat roll but it could be Dex (and you wanted STR for argument.) Now it heavily favors your primary stat.

You mean if you build all your passives and gear around fury gen, slot abilities that give fury, and then only use the most efficient non-spammable and most boring spender (rend build) and only fight highly concentrated packs and never bosses/elites, it doesn't seem like a big deal? Subscribed to your newsletter etc.

Using just your primary builder is -awful-. bash bash bash bash bash bash bash bash bash HOTA HOTA bash bash bash etc. So you have to add in weak fury passives (losing defense/dps/healing), slot abilities you otherwise wouldn't use because they are terrible (warcry w/charge), forget using any rune on your builder other than +fury gen (which are all fire based), etc.

My old build used both rend and HOTA to cover all the bases. It was a great mix of dotting trash + hammering down tougher enemies. You can forget that now. It's all about using one attack while everything else is for feeding it fury. I've been swapping back and forth between a rend/physical build and hota/fire. Both have pretty severe drawbacks. Luckily right now I'm not locked into anything because I have no synergy bonuses but eventually I'll have to pick one and gear for it.

Anyway, I think what barb lovers should be griping for is buffing fury builders to match the +fury runes, and then turn those runes into something more interesting. Because it really fucks up synergy options when the clear obvious best choice are runes that buff fury gen. And that's such a boring choice.
