Did a 57 over the weekend with my dh, time to start fishing as arcaus said and with a little luck I'll hit the leaderboards.
My profileValla - Community - Diablo IIIJust trying to get some ancient pants w/ all resist(and hopefully lpk) so I can roll the all resist on my cloak back to hatred regen. And I need to do some bounties to keep rolling for a better bow. Ancient dml would be nice, but gl getting one with max or near max ias, crit, and disc.
Nice thanks for the tips. I'm sure I could do a 54-55 but I swear every time, I get the worst freaking mobs.

When you hit T1 at level 70 it does pretty much nothing. As for why it's in the game? I have no idea. Most people take about 20 minutes to hit max level so the small demographic that ring at low levels effects is probably inconsequential to them. Scourge is also OP at low levels if you see it.
Actually, it stills mostly one shot shit on T1. I played a few new chars recently and a nagelring in the cube will let you farm like T3 fairly easily, you do shit damage, then a demon pop up and instantly gibs everything. Rift bosses die to 2 of them or so(and since they take almost 10secs to spawn, you always have one right from the start).

Definitely scales like shit eventually, but it's super super strong for early farming. Don't think it needs nerfed, though it could be useful to make it scale with levels maybe, as the damage it does while leveling is pretty fucking dumb(it one shots T6 mobs even if your gear is on level shit). But a non issue, leveling is like 4-6hours depending on your luck and if you group and shit, and that's only relevant at the start of a season anyway since after that you get plvled or plvl yourself with a gem of ease.

I need a focus ring badly. Once I get that it's all about ancient gear and a better ancient weapon and gem leveling. I think.

Unity via cube, CoE and Zodiac, right? Or am I missing the combination?
That is what I use right now. I've been debating trying to find a way to get wedding band of bul-kathos in there. It does .3% of hit points or something like that. When mobs have trillions, that's some serious random DPS there.

You almost always want to cube the ORotZ. Unity will be generally the best of the three, since after enchanting the worst you'll have is str/chc/elite/socket. CoE will also be at worst str/chc/chd/socket, but you have to pray the legendary effect doesn't roll ~150% instead of ~200%. ORotZ just sucks.

People were still using it long after the 2000% nerf, it's just not competitive with Unity/CoE/ORoTZ or F/R/CoE|Unity combos now. It scaled up to doing significant damage when people struggled to do GR45+, but now that GR45 is trivial and people push GR70 the 2000% cap means it does too little damage to matter.

Also, somewhere along the way they nerfed BKWR's ability to trigger the templar's Intimidate. That's what really makes the ring useless now.

2000 is your average weapon damage on one handed ancient weapons isn't it? If not replace one of the 2000's with anything else. I didn't realize it capped which makes me go from wanting to try it to not wanting to try it.

Ah, ok, I thought the "seems bad" was sarcastic. Anyway, "solving" WDPS is usually a bad idea unless you want to compare damage done across different speed weapons or different classes. Otherwise, WDPS is a good unit, leave it at that. For example, you solved it for end damage while forget a whole slew of multipliers. But it's still shit. Find one with IAS and CDR and stick it on your templar. Though, I generally prefer wyrdward and unity.

They don't mean literally the wdps of your mainhand, it's much more complicated than that. Back in S2 it did like 80 million per tick (twice a second, iirc) with BiS gear, but the damage ramps down because it's based off the enemy's current hp. At GR45 that was significant; at GR70 with a rift boss that has something like 2.5 trillion hp it's nothing. Even my monk with non-ancient Shenlongs hits for 1-2 billion consistently.

Not even good on the templar since it doesn't proc Intimidate anymore. EJD/FoD/Unity/Lantern or TF/Wyrd/Unity is the way to go now.

If you have a legacy Lidless, it might be better than a FoD. Got a pretty sweet EJD that I rerolled to lightning damage to proc wyrdward since I don't need the slow from TF.

Finally got the last piece of my Seeker of the Light set. Pretty substantial increase. Jumped from like Torment V to Torment VIII pretty easily and can do Grift at about 38 now, probably a little higher just haven't tried. I need to start figuring out what to reroll, reforge, and spend bloodshards on to make improvements.

Seasonal achievements being bugged is annoying. Decided to finally get the the 25 extracted... and have since gotten the 25th level cubist achievement twice and am up to 36 extracted with no credit yet for the 'Check yo self' seasonal.
