I ran into the same issue, although I think part of my problem was cubing some shit on non seasonal so it counted towards the overall achieve (level 25 cubist etc) but obviously not the seasonal one.

Seasonal achievements being bugged is annoying. Decided to finally get the the 25 extracted... and have since gotten the 25th level cubist achievement twice and am up to 36 extracted with no credit yet for the 'Check yo self' seasonal.
Class specific gear does not count for the achievements when cubed.

What's the best strategy for grift farming for a WW barb? I can do grift 45 but it takes about 11ish minutes. I need to upgrade my gems and I don't have a good second ring yet so I am using Traveler's Pledge and Compass rose for the increased critical damage plus still looking for a Furnace for cube.

Problem with lower grifts is can't really upgrade my gems anymore with them.

This is my setup currently:

Pride of Cassius will help a lot getting you to 50 before you get a unity. Fishing for a good Hellfire so you can slot Nerves of Steel will help as well, or at least it did me.

Edit: Also change Overpower to Rend if you can. With Rifts solo you should easily have close to max fury all the time.

My problem right now seems to be kill speed. I don't die in grift 45 but it takes me a while to kill stuff. I have a pride of cassius and lacuni's but have the speed run bracers/belt equipped now because I've been power levelling a friend.

I'm stubborn and have stuck w/ my Suwong + Helltooth for 400 paragon or so now even though I've managed to get exactlyzeroancients for this build.... but after doing bounties in public games for a couple of hours w/ exploding chicken, not sure I can go back to walking around so 'slow'.

Finally got the 25 cubed seasonal... made it all the way to 40/50 on the 50 cubist. Probably all the WD masks, daggers, etc.

I'd say you're killing slow because you're missing a total of 22% crit chance on ring/amulet/helm and you've got no Furnace in cube.

Cube - Get a Furnace ASAP.
Helm - Not ideal to begin with, and rerolling secondary makes it really not ideal. Try for a new one that can be rolled str/chc/WW%/socket. If you can't get a perfect one, just remember that 6% crit beats 15% WW.
Chest - Overpower% -> Vitality
Amulet - Ask RNGesus for a nice Hellfire. You want chc/chd/socket, with str/AD/phys% in the last slot and a useful passive.
Gloves - CDR -> AD or CHD (This one's debatable, some people might roll off vit to chd instead.)
Ring - Need a new CoE, that one's not salvageable. Reroll it to str/chc/chd/socket unless it comes that way naturally, in which case you reroll the str to AD. Str/chc/ad/socket is ok too.
Boots - Reroll the armor to WW%.
Weapons - Reroll mainhand socket to AD or CDR and gift it. For offhand, if it came like that then reroll IAS to CDR; if you had to reroll to get the socket then leave it alone. Not worth using a gift on a non-ancient when you've only been playing a short while and probably don't have many.

Whether you choose AD or CDR to focus on depends on what you want to do. AD is for pushing GRs where the density goes way up, CDR is for farming. I'd probably choose CDR since you need to farm to get more ancient gear/upgrades in general to get into rifts where AD can shine.

25 cubed means what? Upgrading a rare? Or extracting powers? Orall things done with cube?
The seasonal achievements read "Extract X Legendary powers using Kanai's Cube."
What Intrinsic said. There's a general achievement (Level 25 Cubist) for extracting 25 legendaries w/ the cube. There's a season's journey meta-achievement that says the same thing (Check Yo Self), but is bugged in some fashion (ie only counts items that aren't class-specific). Now for the next season I need 50, which means closer to 75 now that per my generic non-seasonal says I'm at 40/50 legendary abilities extracted.

Class items count. It's just buggy as shit for one reason or another, but it's not directly related to class items. I finished the thing with like 104items, and like 25 of these are WD items, most of which I had cubed very early since they're the most relevant to use. I was only 3-5 off every step of the journey, with mostly WD specific items. There doesn't seem to be a pattern to the issue, which is probably why it's not fixed either. If it was just class items, they would have fixed it quickly, but it isn't. The only things I know I did that some people might have done differently is I only cubed like 3-4things on non seasonal before season started(too lazy to do bounties and my chars are geared like shit) and I only cubed things on a single character during season. Other than that, I mostly focused on non jewelry because I went with what took the most space in my stash first, however the jewelry still worked fine on the last step and didn't add up anyway, so most likely not this either.

You can kinda just keep cubing stuff until it works though. You can also do all the other objectives while you wait, so it only becomes a real issue once you're done with everything else but don't have your 100. Some people are getting terrible luck, or that's what they say at least, supposedly cubing 150+ things but never getting the seasonal stuff.

Thanks for the info, still trying to wrap my head around all the stats and breakpoints and gearing strategies since I haven't played since like a month after Vanilla release. I enchanted all that gear originally when I still needed defense to survive. AD = Attack Damage?

EDIT: Nevermind, AD = Area Damage.

Area damage. 20% chance to apply whatever area damage you have to everything in a small aoe, works on almost everything so makes your aoe a lot stronger.

For people who didn't follow, a fairly huge exploit was found early on in the season that let you use as many passives as you want by using Hellfire amulets and breaking them. After breaking, you'd retain the passive from that amulet and could equip another, break it and so on, letting you play with all the passives(or at least the ones that mattered). They had issued a hotfix to partially fix it and they fixed it entirely in last patch(as well as a few other things, supposedly firewall should lag less but meh). They also issued a large wave of bans, with a lot more serious punishments than what they usually do(bloodshard exploit last season for example was entirely temporary bans I believe). If you exploited a little bit without stuff like trying to do high GRs and shit, you got temp banned for 2weeks. If you exploited a lot, you got perma banned. If you stumbled onto the bug by mistake or what not, you probably got no punishment.

Said streamer is a known botter too(as in, he actually admitted to using bots, and has been online the entire season, farming the entire time...), so a lot of people are pretty happy he finally got banned, even though he got banned because of this exploit rather than because he was botting. Their botting detection seems really fucking shit tbh, tracking this exploit on the other hand I assume is very easy, especially if you were an idiot and did a GR since GR snapshot all your shit at the end to display on the leaderboards(so they probably snapshot all the passives, even if they're not displayed).

Anyway good riddance. Lots of people going for the "but I didn't know I'd get banned" defense on reddit, which is pretty funny.

I used the hellfire exploit, stacked about 6 buffs from it, then logged off.. Never killed a single mob with the buffs equipped I don't think.. haven't even got around to trying to log in recently to see if I'm banned.. I'll only be slightly sad if I'm banned since I deserve it and I was pretty bored with the game anyway which is the main reason I was willing to cheat so openly.

Most entertaining part when things like this happen. As there are always waves of people that scream their innocence like they had no clue what happened ;P

I think the most entertaining one I've been a part of was with GW2 where people flocked to the forums claiming they didn't use the exploit or only did it a few times and then the developers started posting how many times these supposed innocent accounts actually exploited and most where well into the hundreds and some thousands, was hilarious.

Blizzard CM/Dev shaming is excellent when they have the time. They typically have amazing logging if not particularly robust detection tools.
