I wouldn't say it really sucks, it's middle of the pack. Roughly, Barbs/Wiz/Monks at 80ish, WD/DH at 75ish and Crusader at 70ish.

I don't see how you'd have trouble farming with ownage gear, unless you mean you're trying to farm with marauder or something, then yeah it definitely sucks because marauder is outdated as all fuck and that'd be like trying to wizard with firebird.

It's harder to gear up a DH compared to a WD(mostly weapons are a bitch, while WD gets the whole only two spear deal) so very early in the season, WDs were ahead, but now they're the same. They're behind the other 3 for GR progression, but for "farming", that doesn't actually matter. I mean every class, including Crusader, shits on T10 or GR55-60 once geared, which is the farming part.

In seasonal Crusader and DH are bottom of the pack at 72
WD is 75
Wizard is 77
Barb is 79
Monk is 82

Hmm right only one DH at 75, didn't check past 1st rank, then 2 73 and then it's 72(including top NA which I guess is what you're referring to), so I guess it's close to Crusader. Still that doesn't mean the class has a hard time doing GR60 or farming T10 though.

I made a nat set with legendaries I saved

None of it is ancient of course so it gets one shot even on GR 50

So I guess I farm GR 38s or something till I get a full well rolled ancient suit

With Wraps and Nat, some decent hp and like possibly a defensive gem like esoterics or preferably taeguk, it shouldn't be an issue. Generally ancient stuff is more about getting the most damage out than increasing survivability. Sure you get some health, but raw health isn't a terribly useful defensive stat. Also get some main stat defense but the scaling on that tends to be shit. A large part of the defenses comes from damage reduction stuff. I guess Unity instead of CoE is probably viable too once you have good weapons.

I don't know it sounds weird, I played my DH like a day during S4 and I could do torment 8, which is like, GR35 or so? That's in one day, using int F+R rings and shit.

DH is in such a bad place right now because if a mob touches them they die. This season I really don't think they balanced the survivability of Wizard and Demon Hunter in comparison with the escalating level of GRifts.

Is that your char?JrdnTwrFilms - Community - Diablo III

How outdated is the page? Cause there's a lot of fairly obvious issues but this shit updates weirdly. Taeguk needs to be 25+ otherwise it's shit since it gives no armor, no gems in sockets, wrong bracers and belt need wraps of clarity and crashing rain, wolf instead of bat hatred should never be an issue, need 6pc nat without rings and rorg so you can use F+R for a massive damage increase, drop strafe roll on boots for all resist(strafe does shit for dmg it's just there to spend hatred for RoV), also roll all resist instead of armor on legs(in general all resist is superior to armor for classes that get armor from their main stats).

I assume a bunch of that doesn't apply, but T10 shouldn't be an issue with 6pc nat+wraps unless you're killing slow and then the issue is more that than damage reduction.

Get crit chance on your Focus, even if it means non Ancient.
Are RCR(shoulders) and CDR(gloves) necessary for that build? Seems like area damage on shoulders and vit on gloves would be more useful.
Reroll the socket on your bow(probably LoH or Vit, maybe IAS) and gift it.
Even if Evasive Fire could hit more targets than three, it's terrible synergy with Iceblink. Put in Bane of the Stricken instead. I assume you're also using Iceblink to proc Trapped at range? That seems suspect too, but I do believe it's a problem for this build and it's great that they are giving all DH builds an 80% slow next patch. A Templar with Thunderfury might be your best bet for proccing Trapped at range.
2x Trail of Cinders costs less discipline than 2x Tumble, but the difference is minor.
If you're dieing a lot, maybe unity cubed instead of CoE. I've always hated abusing that rotating buff, but if you can do it, it's a huge damage increase.

Try the Lightning Fulminator Nat spec.

Reroll monk.

Well UE is harder than Natalya I believe, you need to fish more cause some rift setups just ruin you. I don't really know all that much about UE(or Nat really, I've only played DH like a couple of days this season) but shouldn't you run another gem instead of Ice Blink? Like Taeguk or Stricken, probably Taeguk for the armor. Leveling the other gems to ~60 too. I'd probably roll off the 15%evasive on the belt for all resist, since I don't think evasive does all that much dmg in that setup(only shoot every now and then to refresh buffs and shit). Don't know about Vengeance with no cooldown reduction, sounds kinda meh? Maybe Caltrops with Bait the Trap would be better. Could also use a hellfire amulet with archery or steady aim or perfectionist.

Then there's also how you do the rift. High greater rifts aren't really played like you play the rest of the game, you want to skip a lot of stuff. Most elites really you'll skip unless your build is really good at killing them, or you drag them around and kill them over time. You basically always want to be shooting at white mobs as they're better than elites(less so in 2.4 but still). Don't actually know how doable this is on UE though as you might die and need to keep your distances, but you really want to group up mobs as much as possible. If you check high GR clear videos or streams or what not you can see how people play there and it should give you a decent enough idea.

The video is a bit old and the guy uses Bolas instead of Evasive but you can see a run there:

Actually I have Taeguk, Striken, and Powerful 50+ I just happened to be running Ice Blink because I was trying something new, I didn't notice it there. I could put any of those 3 in though and give it a shot but I know I've tried it at one point.

Thanks for the infos though I'll give a few adjustments a shot. But yes, rifts where you get nothing but shit mobs are terrible. This is the biggest shit with the GR system at this point. They really should let you configure the parameters. "GR 60, Easy Mobs (Zombies), High Density" vs. "GR 60, Fuck you mobs (Exorcists, Ghosts, and Winged Assassins), ..etc etc".

Just got into doing torment 10. I guess I'm pretty much at the point of grinding paragon since I'm at 175 lol.

So what more can I do here to be able to tackle a GR60? I can't quite pull off a 57 atm, heh. It might just be I suck at this point, I dunno. Recommendations welcome.

I was outta town when you posted this and just saw this.

Your toughness is really low, I'm using a witching hour, ruby in helm, and a bow with no vit and have nearly 6m more toughness than you. Once your factor in multiplicative bonuses from your wraps of clarity, taeguk, and shadow power gloom, it becomes even greater disparity. Get life % on your shoulders and gloves with vit. Evasive fire bonus is mostly worthless, really you'd want all resist there, but since you can't because of the physical resist, get armor. Get boots with dex/vit/all resist/multishot. Reroll the socket on your bow to vit and gift it.

As deathwing said use taeguk instead of iceblink and use thunderfury to proc your slow, I personally and I know others high on the leaderboards were using thunderfury in their cube actually. The tradeoff of it allowing you to use taeguk more than makes up the damage loss from losing calamity and you get all the armor on top of that.

You really could use a hellfire amulet with one of the needed passives, but with those changes to your survivability and also using shadow power gloom (vengeance is bad don't use vengeance) you may be able to get away with dropping awareness and using 4 dps passives.

And besides those things get perfect rolls, you want 6 crit, not 5.5 crit, 15% life instead of 13%, etc.

Season 4 Ending Soon - Diablo III

I wasn't serious about seasons until now(the stuctured journey really helps), but from what I understand, they skipped the holiday break last time too. Bummer, had a lot of time off. WTF am I going to play now?

I was also hoping (earlier in the month) that they would roll this out for the holidays. Once Tuesday passed last week, I figured that ship had sailed. Oh well. Definitely looking forward to the new season and earning a new stash tab.
